Date someone special from Mesa, United States. A bit about me….I spent the first 20 years of my life in a small town in Minnesota. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment in which to grow up. Now, 23 years and three children later, I still find myself a Minnesota girl at heart, trying to raise my children as I was raised. I practice what I preach, I’m kind to others, and I’m thankful for what we have. My Christian beliefs are important to me.
My children are a very significant part of my life. I have twin 8-year-olds and a 3-year-old...all boys. They are great kids and I feel so blessed to be their mom. The twins are active in karate, piano, electric guitar (!), and take violin at school. My little one is 3 - going on 8!. He wants to be and do just like his older brothers. He's my funny one...the other day he told me, "Focus mom. Pay attention!". What? I'm being told to focus by a 3-year-old?! At least I know when he's not listening to me...he's still hearing me!
My career has always centered on helping people. I was lucky enough to realize my dream of starting my own business in 1998, and have since helped hundreds of children in foster care. I sold my half of the business to my ex-husband in our divorce four years ago. Needing to find a new career path, I chose to study the law. I graduated in June with a degree in legal studies, and am anxious to begin my new career as a paralegal.
My focus over the past few years has been attending school full time and raising my children. I haven’t dated much, as I haven’t been able to dedicate the time or energy necessary to make a relationship work. Now, I’ve finally graduated (!) and I’m ready to begin anew – both professionally and personally. So, here I am.
Yes, I know, I need to post more pictures! It surprised me that I have so few pictures of myself - lots of my kids though! I'll have to work on that. In the mean time, let me describe my "about average" body type. I am comfortable in my size 6. I've always been pretty athletic - I like to hike, bike, swim, ski, walk...anything outdoors with my three boys. I miss my days of co-ed softball (I pitch!). I would love to tone up a bit (wouldn'd we all?), and find someone that enjoys a similar lifestyle. I am always open for trying new activities.
I think that a physical chemistry is certainly necessary in finding my perfect match, but I find intelligence, great conversation, honesty, and humor to be equally important. Right now my kids are the most important priority and mean everything to me. I'm very active and love to play sports. I rollerblade 5-6 times a week and love it!! I love music and have a wide variety of genres that I listen to. I'm a very happy and outgoing person. I love being outdoors and love the mountains. I love to cook and bake and think nothing is better than a home cooked meal .
