I was brought up on a ranch in South Dakota where family is everything and everyone always helps each other out. I've been in Arizona now for about 12 years but still haven't lost my roots. If I had to pick the quality about myself that I like best, It would have to be the high level of integrity I hold. Other than that, Honesty is very important to me,I have great ethics and morals and am passionate about life. I've been told that I also have a great sense of humor and a lot of charisma, which I tend to agree, Haha! Oh, and I'm a great mom. Being a mom has made me a 1000 times better person than I was before I had him....kids will do that to you and he's the best. BTW, I have to point out that I am not looking for a dad for my son. He has one, and a good one at that. We get along great, are friends, and share custody. Just had to clear that up...guys can really get freaked sometimes about women with kids.
My uncle and I run a small business in Tempe that I love. My freetime, outside of spending time with my 2 year old, would be getting comfy on the couch and watching a movie or take a risk in cooking something I never have before. Going out to watch live music and I like to play volleyball but haven't for quite some time:-( Of course I'm always up for some excitement and spontaneity too!
Before I had my son I loved to run, hike, camp (love love love camping....but real camping, not in a class A),...anything to get outdoors, which I'm finally back into and am excited about. I am a down to earth fun girl. I don't mind getting dirty and have a pretty open mind about people and trying something new. Wow, this was harder than I thought. Basically you just have to meet me to see me my true shining colors.

. I moved from Long Beach, Ca. to Arizona almost 3 years ago. Originally, I grew up in Northern California and have always been connected to that area. Although I am not a fan of the summers here, I have adjusted and enjoy the other months of mild weather that we live in. I work for an Arizona school district as a school psychologist. During my break time I enjoy visiting friends in California and Colorado. Of course I love movies, reading and cooking. I have just recently started running races and made it through the summer training at an early hour. I absolutely enjoy hiking with friends and conquered the Phx Summit Challenge this last October. I used to be very involved in music when I lived in Southern California, but with the change in scenery also came change in interests and motivation. It would be great to meet someone with similar interests becuase even though most people like music and hiking for some reason that does not seem to be enough all the time.The challenge with dating is meeting someone who can compliment your interests and also keep you interested.

I think I'm funny and I'm looking for someone with a complimentary sense of humor. I'll pretty much say anything if it gets you to laugh. While I can be serious too, it's just not as fun. I'm a loyal friend and I love the family that I've created for myself. I've always been motivated with my life and I've worked hard to get what I have.
