I live a “charmed life” that is full of positives. I have a successful business; three beautiful, smart, well-adjusted children; and lots of great, close family and friends. Although I am content and happy with my life and my accomplishments, I am finally at a place where I would welcome the opportunity to share it with the most interesting man in the world.
Like all people, I am complex, and not perfect, nor am I perfectly self-aware. I believe that we are all a work in progress. All of us have gifts, talents, struggles, flaws, imperfections. I am grateful for the few significant love relationships I have had in my life. From them, I have learned a lot about who I am, and what I want. I find I am happiest when either in a relationship where I feel secure and reassured that we are potentially moving toward a future together as a couple, or just not in a relationship at all. True intimacy isn’t possible for me when I am “just dating”…and I have learned that I can’t just date a person for months on end without a potential for a future together. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy dating…but I don’t date for the sake of dating anymore. So, if you are the kind of man who enjoys juggling several “relationships” at a time, or believes that building a life with another human being is going to somehow suck the life out of yours, or that you need a partner solely for the service of your needs…I am not the girl for you.
I do know beauty, agility and life are fleeting…so, I believe in keeping busy and building a meaningful life. It’s important for me to take care of myself inside and out. I work very hard, but take lots of work breaks to travel, work out, cook, pray, sing, read, visit with friends and family, while guiding my children toward a purposeful life.
