In my free time I listen to new music and play the guitar. I love to play music and especially enjoy attending live shows in the valley. If you were to run into me at the office there is a good chance I am humming along to some imaginary track in my head. If it were up to me, I would be at Crescent Ballroom every night of the week.
I moved to Arizona with my family when I was a child, and oddly enough I am the only one who has stayed. I live here with my little boy and just purchased my first home, so it looks like I’m staying awhile longer. I am very proud of the fact that I purchased my first home on my own and can’t believe how long I spent throwing money away on rent. Especially close to my heart are my old stomping grounds—South Scottsdale and Tempe.
I love Phoenix. I think it's awesome that you can find luxury homes located next to trailer parks and we are all just sort of thrown into the mix. It’s a special blend of opulence and, well, ghetto. In some parts of the valley you can be bombarded with signs of gratuitous wealth while still being exposed to nearly unthinkable poverty. It’s insane… and fascinating. I also like that so many people speak Spanish.
