These things are so hard to write, how boring is it to read yet another anonymous person’s description of what a nice, active, adventurous, and honest person they are. Does anyone on here actually have such an interesting, fun life that they think it would be fun for someone else to read about? I made it through about 50 pages of Bill Clinton’s book about his life and he is arguably one of the most interesting people of the last ten years. So rather than bore you with all of that I will tell you a few things that may be important in deciding whether or not to write back. First I am single, you wouldn’t think I would need to say that here. I work in finance and don’t have any personal financial problems. I have a house in Atlanta and a job in Phoenix that has me traveling around the west. I drive a four door, four wheel drive truck that gets 14 miles per gallon and a Harley Davidson police bike that gets slightly better mileage. Recently I rode the bike from Atlanta to Phoenix. I am healthy and happy and don’t have any kind of mental illness or anger management problems.What am I looking for? Again, I think we are all looking for generally the same things so I will spare you the details. Besides, I am not posting a picture here so I don’t think I will be getting to many unsolicited responses. Most importantly I am looking for someone that is also single and ready for a committed relationship and is willing to invest a little time to find the right person. Someone that is interested in more than an email relationship and actually wants to go on a date at some point. Meet single man from United States. Ok, here's my story...I'm 40 and never been married. This has given me an interesting perspective on who I am and what I want in a relationship. Time is an expensive price to pay for maturity and I've paid the price! Having said that, I do want a meaningful relationship in my life and that is what I'm seeking. I am hoping that such a relationship will be with a person I can first become friends with. I am an optimist by nature and like being with people that are like-minded. My cup is almost always 1/2 full :) With that in mind, I have learned a lot about what I don't like about a person...tattoos and breast implants are a big turn-off for me. I met enough women with either of those items that I've realized they're just not my type. Tribal scribbling on one's body and bolt-on attention getters just don't do it for me. Nothing personal. I like a person who likes being active. I don't look for the closest parking spot at the store. I like the walk and chalk it up to just being active. I like to do some exercise each and every day...the gym, running, tennis, hiking, etc. Being active is a great way to share time w/ another person. I have traveled to many different countries and speak several languages. This has allowed me to be somewhat more open-minded than the average person. I enjoy experiencing new cultures, foods, and people. I don't mind a woman with kids. I don't even mind if you have 2 kids. 3 is pushing it. But, the more kids you have the hotter you need to be. I don't make the rules, I just play by them. Oh, and I'm sure that you've figured out by now that I'm a funny person. At least I've been told. It is a dry humor, but it'll make you smile. You don't have to be funny. You can leave the comedy to me. Tennis is my favorite sport. Playing, watching, reading about it, etc. You only have to enjoy watching it. And if you don't know anything about it, I'll teach you. On to animals...this is always a touchy subject...I love animals. But I love humanity more than animals. I always believe that if you take on the responsibility of caring for an animal, you need to care for it like a human being and be responsible for that life. Because I believe that, I don't have any animals. If you equate animals (i.e. dogs, cats, etc.) as being equal to humans or you prefer to help the animal kingdom before you would help a human being in need, you're not my type. I'm not really looking for a person who has a lot of "Internet" miles. I know we're all looking for happiness in this world, but I've also come across a few people who are professional Internet daters. Not for me.
