It's not that I have trouble making friends, quite the contrary, however I moved here only a few months before the economy went into a tailspin. My life has been devoted to simply trying to stay afloat and it has left no time whatsoever to meeting new people. Things are starting to clear up a bit and I realized that I have completely ignored my social life and decided that it was time to do something about it. I don't have the network of friends here that I did back in the midwest..hence I'm trying this.
