So here I am, a real person with all these little quirks human beings tend to have (and at this stage we should know about all of them). We should be intelligent and experienced enough to know that real people in real life are so much more exciting than boring old prince or princess charming. I do believe in virtues as incentives and commitments, one of them being honesty. So let's be honest and not get fooled by all these idealized descriptions.

Do you think there is an ideal match out there? I believe it first needs to click (the right chemistry is crucial, falling in love, one of those great gifts nature holds for us), then it needs a lot of time to learn about the other (do not omit this step, a big mistake of our fast moving times), and finally the commitment to put time and effort into a relationship (this is what we learned the hard way, right?). Is it about the income, the degree or the movies we watch? May be a start and of course we are looking for the matching status symbols, but it is so superficial, and in the end it is distracting from the important things in life. If we take our time and would learn to listen and talk to our inside(s), we might be more lucky to find the ideal match in the end, despite our big expectations. I was lucky enough to be able to turn my nerdy hobby into a profession. I am still amazed that I get payed for having fun. I am very dedicated to what I am doing, and in the rest of my time I love to explore our world with open eyes. As a result I am also relocating every once in a while. What about NewZealand, or..?
