Meet a boy from United States. Hey everyone, my name is Adam though most of my friends call me Tank. I just moved into University Heights in Homewood. I'm pursuing a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Physics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am a little behind as far as traditional college goes, but it's due to my training for my job. I work at Lifeguard Ambulance and Lifeflight. I absolutely love what I do and I'm glad I can say I love going to work each day. During the summer time I also work job contracts for Raytheon in Antarctica or Alaska. It's something I'm extremely proud of and I usually at least get one or two good stories out of each trip. It's because of this I don't have a whole lot of time for dating so I decided to give this a shot.
Since my move to Birmingham physical fitness has become a large part of my life and I have been taking advantage of all the great outdoor activities that Birmingham has to offer. I love to go hiking/biking now at least once a week. I absolutely love to go minimalist camping. There is just something about being in nature with nothing but mountain air and a campfire that makes me feel at peace.
I also currently play the guitar in a band called 6 Legs. Whenever I get asked what kind of music we play I always say it's "Big guitars, pounding bass, and a chorus that will have you singing it in your sleep" (Think AC/DC or Hinder(Except less terrible). We don't really have any professional aspirations but it is a great time and a whole lot of fun.
I love sports. I played baseball all the way through junior college and I enjoy any type of competition. Right now I play a lot of frisbee golf with friends. I never miss a Blazer's game and I always try to make at least one or two Alabama home games. My current favorite activity to do is kayaking but Alabama doesn't have too many great spots.
To finish up, let me tell you a bit about what I'm looking for. I'm looking for someone who is intelligent and has set goals in their life. I'm not asking you to have your entire life figured out, but a general idea of what you plan on doing 5 years from now is a nice start.
