Looking for someone who is like-minded in faith above all else. If your spiritual life isn't in order, it will be difficult to get any other part of your life in order. I am a committed Christian, mature in my faith and I seek the same in a partner. I worship at a United Methodist Church where I am very involved in the music program. I play guitar and sing with a praise band for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ! I love my church and adore my pastor and church family.
I tend to be a morning person and like to get up and get busy enjoying the day, but you know, once in a while it's such a joy to sleep in! I enjoy evenings too, but in a wind-down sort of way. I tend to plan outtings but I also love an occasional spontanious road trip to some yet unexplored (to me) destination! I love to share intellegent conversation about many subjects, life, love, experiences that bring wisdom, world events... you name it, but I don't like to talk just to hear my own voice and I hope you don't either. I like meaningful, interactive conversation that stimulates the mind.
I like to stay fit. My father had a heart attack at 53 and another at 69 that killed him. I do not want to go down that road, instead, I choose to stay fit by bicycling. It has been a bit cold as of late (Jan/Feb) so I only have in about 100 miles this year. My goal is 1200 miles for this year but most likely I will exceed it. My longest ride so far is 44 miles, but I have signed up for a 100K (62 miles) fundraiser in Autauga county this April. I would love to have you ride with me if you are in to it. Of course you would have to start out slow...
I'm in touch with my feelings and emotions, loving and sensual when appropriate, but you would never mistake me as effeminate! I'm a guy. I think, work, play and sing like a guy! I don't want to try to be anybody's girlfriend and I'm pretty sure you don't want that, even if sometimes you might think that you do.
My job and my hobbies all seem to be technical in nature, some (like woodworking and playing music) even take on an artistic bend. I love to make unusual wooden boxes from beautiful exotic and domestic hardwoods. I've made a guitar or two, a few intricate round things, both large and small. Another hobby is multi-track (professional) audio recording. I've been flying ultralight aircraft for about 15 years... that's the contraption you see in the photos.
I love road trips to almost any location under the right circumstances. I love to drive and I like to visit places that I've never been. As I get older, I find my desire to do this increases. I would like to get out west one of these years. I have family in Michigan and the Gulf coast of Alabama. I've done lot's of driving between the two extremes!

Meet a soulmate from Autaugaville, United States. I like amusement parks, especially roller coaters! I don't go too often, but I'm due for a visit! I've been described as "industrious", not to be confused with "workaholic".
It seems somewhat obvious, but I'd enjoy meeting someone who likes to do things that I like to do. I've been known to go camping and canoing. I like to fly and it would be refreshing if I could meet somebody who isn't afraid of heights or is not paranoid about flying! I live on some land that needs to be tamed. Do you like to clear brush? Do you like looking at a beautiful landscape that God created and you tailored? Don't kid yourself, it's hard work. I don't need a boss, I'd like a partner.
Is the Lord Jesus Christ your savior and do you lead a fruitful Christian life? If the answer is NO, while you may be a wonderful person...regretably, you aren't my type.
If you have truly experienced the things I've described and you KNOW that they are enjoyable to you, it would be nice to communicate in some form. If you THINK that you would enjoy them and might like to try, that's a good thing also! You'll find out quickly!
I know how to repair or build most things, and I exercise these gifts often. I don't usually mess around with air conditioning, but I'm thinking of taking a class. Physically, I'm pretty self-sufficient, but spirtually I am completely dependant on Jesus.
