Don't bother if:
* You have a purse full of credit cards and mounds of vehicle, student loan debt, etc, and are proud of it; along with looking forward to shopping somewhere along 280's Credit Card Alley at every opportunity. I'm financially conservative and frankly, mounds of debt and impulse spending as a lifestyle is something that is only a relationship wedge. I'm NOT cheap, but I do plan and being with someone that is nonchalant with their finances will definitely become a stumbling block on down the road. I fully believe Proverbs 22:7.
* You have kids. I have nothing against kids, or people that have them. I think kids are awesome, but in my experience, it only brings a certain type of baggage into a relationship that I want no part of. If that makes someone's opinion of me is that I'm an immature jerk, then there ya go.
* Are looking for a hookup or casual dating.
* Barely graduated high school with no aspirations of higher education along with a deep love for your Dollar General career. Generally speaking I have no desire to be with someone that doesn't want a career of her own (specifically, a mind/drive geared at going somewhere). Don't misinterpret that as being anti-traditional roles. I'm certainly not.
* Hates Jesus/despises religion. No, I don't think you're a bad person and we're probably still friends, but you certainly don't fit my marriage material mold.
* Don't take care of yourself physically. I'm no Fabio, but I do go to the gym 4 days a week. It's not a statement of physical appearance as much as mental mindset and lifestyle. There's no amount of personality that can make me look beyond a lack of self-respect (and that goes for many different aspects of someone's personality).
* Hates Auburn. Auburn believes in you, so you should love it!
That said, what else can I say about myself other than, "fun, witty, goal oriented and responsible guy seeks normal, drama free and successful girl". ;) I'm kind of a homebody, but I travel a lot with work. I'm definitely beyond the club scene/party life. I like people that use proper grammar and punctuation and that echo my love for Auburn Football (mentioning state allegiance is obligatory in every profile, right?) If you have a fearless sense of humor and can roll your eyes at what I think is my witty banter, then we're a match made in heaven. I'm looking for a good old fashion southern girl (country music not included). Someone that loves going to church, loves her career, loves her life and loves her family. Someone that is financially responsible and knows who Dave Ramsey is about as good as it gets as well. I also find the entire notion of online dating to be completely asinine, which is probably why I'm trying it. It's like speeding train headed right for a cliff.
I probably sound like a jerk. I'm definitely the farthest thing from one, but I'm a straight shooter. Women like to say they prefer a guy that is straight forward, well, here ya go. The more I like you, the less brutally honest I probably am so take that for what it's worth. One thing is for sure, I know the type of person I want to be with, I've been through plenty of train wrecks to be able to figure that much out!
