Love day trips and sometimes the best places are ones you've already been to. Don't want to spend ALL my time on the road I'm really pretty much of a home body, except for my "Red Hat" outings.

Except for COPD, my health is excellent and I don't have a drawer full of Rx's, I do eat healthy/organic when I can. Due to the Rx's I do take and the limitations of COPD, along with my Scots/Irish heritage, I am now more 'curvy' than most of my life. I have put on some pounds that I struggle with and can't be as active as I used to be.
My life is slower paced now, but I think that's what's nice about retirement, I don't do much multitasking ("A" type stuff) any more and I really can "Stop and Smell the Roses"; I can be more spontaneous now...WOW! the freedom.
