I love studying history and several years ago I was one of the founders of a military museum in our community. I painted murals of a B-17 in flight, Betty Grable, raising the flag on Iwo Jima and the Times Square Kiss. I have been told I have a lively sense of humor and I enjoy a good joke, but too much raunch leaves me cold. I was married for 43 years, and while I would consider remarrying under the right circumstances, it's not on the top of my to-do list. I'm retired and have enough income to suit my needs; I'm not looking for a meal ticket or a sugar daddy. I'm not into the noisy bar scene and much prefer a mellow-lit restaurant with reasonably priced, hardy food and good conversation. I'm looking for a close friend for a fun, satisfying relationship. I attend a United Methodist Church and prefer the contemporary service. Every now and then I sleep in and miss a Sunday. I tend to be on the conservative side in my political views, but I cannot abide the rigid hypocrisy of the "far right." I have two grown children who live out-of-state and a baby granddaughter.
