Meet a soulmate from Alabama, United States. Are having fun, being happy, and loving your life among your more serious pursuits? Are you as thrilled by what nature has delivered as you are by what man has built? Can you receive as well as you give, and care just as much as you can long? Are your family, your friendships and your relationships more important to you than all else you can imagine? Do you always brake for small animals? Large animals? Are "loving" and "being loved" among your highest values & are you willing to pay premium prices for both?
Can you share completely and still hold dearly to the independence of your natural spirit? Are you willing to "take it to the limit one more time" with passion and boldness, as well as with patience, gentleness, flexibility and grace?
Are honesty, integrity and faithfullness much much more than simple 7, 9, & 13 letter words? Can you feel warmth on winter's coldest night & a breeze on summer's hotest day? Can you continue to cope, even during times when tomorrow does not turn out to be a "better day?"
Will you kiss me and take my breath away? Are you playful, and do you love to have fun and just be down right silly sometimes? Do you have a good sense of humor and love to laugh? Do you enjoy "laughing with others" and never "at others?" Can you forgive yourself as well as you can forgive others? If we share any of these traits and you like healthy smoothies, then we have lots in common. So, shall we share our "lots?"
Date someone special from Alabama, United States. This is the hardest part of the profile. How I see myself I see myself may not be the way you see me, but I hope you do. I am a caring, friendly, honest, person with a great sense of humor, my friends tell me. I love to laugh and have a positive outlook on life. My glass is always more than half full. I love to laugh and see the positive side of things. I love being active, but also enjoy quiet time with a glass of wine with a favorite person and great conversation. The only baggage is my carry on. Please, leave your baggage and grumpiness at home. Only positive people need to write and NO separated men, please.
I would like to meet someone with a great sense of humor, sense of style, and sense of adventure and who also has a glass that is always more than half full. Chemistry comes in many shapes and styles; country is fine as is urban sophistication. He must be honest, caring, personable with a sweet disposition and a kind heart, computer literacy is a real plus. If that describes you, then please write to me.

Meet men and women from United States. I believe I am a very loving, kind person. I would like to meet someone who is not judgmental, one who likes to laugh and is willing to try different activities, at least once. I like to go to movies, dinner, festivals, antique shopping (not necessarily buying anything).
Date a soulmate from United States. Very active lady who enjoys life and all it has to offer. I spend time hiking, working in the yard, taking care of myself, and appreciating the beauty of nature.
Life has provided me with a variety of growth opportunities. Those I will save to share in our conversations when I also learn about yours. Neither of us could have gotten to this point in our lives without some interesting stories to tell. I have lived internationally, traveled extensively(Flight Attendant for 5 years), and enjoyed a successful career in corporate real estate/finance. I am blessed with good health, good genes, wonderful friends, loving family, good education, and a well balanced life. Now all I need is someone to share life's little pleasures with.
I am an eternal optimist who is fascinated by the individuality of mankind. I never had children of my own but, do have 3 beautiful nieces and two spoiled rotten dogs. I have been divorced a long time. Therefore, I have learned how to be self-sufficient and independent but, that doesn't mean I do not appreciate male qualities and the value they add. It just means that I have had time to learn a lot about myself and hopefully identify the type of guy I am willing to share my life with. At this time, it would be nice to find someone to share the enjoyment of daily living, laughing, and making new memories together. Two people who could come together accepting and enjoying each others similarities as well as their differences. Having fun, laughing, and "creating a history" with each other built on respect, love, and support. Having "fun" together and sharing life's adventures. I am not ready to retire on life, sit in the rocking chair, and drink RC Cola's and eat Moon Pies! I am far too adventuresome for that kind of life style.
If you are the type of guy that appreciates an independent woman who is willing to make new memories with you, give me a contact.
Meet someone special from United States. lMy husband died almost 2 years ago. He was my best friend and soulmate. He was very supportive in my endeavors. At the present time, I do not want to remarry or get involved in any sort of romantic situation. I would just like to meet someone who has similar interests. Someone who likes to travel (going dutch). I have found that being a childless widow ts lonesome but also the most challenging situation I have ever been in my life. I miss sharing ideas, adventures with my husband of over 35 years. But I also know that he was so tired from struggling with congestive heart failure. I do have cats and a dog. Without them I might be talking to the walls.
I was an Air Force brat and lived all over the place. This resulted in my being a respecter of all peoples. I was raised to believe that to whom much is given, much is expected, both financially and emotionally. I graduated from a liberal arts college and planned to live in New Orleans and write the great American novel. But then life happens, I graduated from college at age 20 and just sorta fell into teaching. I met the man I was to marry there and taught 11th and 12th social sciences for 38 years. I am a political junkie and do not watch Fox news.
I was good teacher because I am a life long learner. I know that I had a positive affect on many of my students. After I retired, i knew that I did not want to flitter the rest of my life away. So after much thought and prayer, I will soon be entering a new phase. I have been a certified Methodist lay speaker for a number of years. I am now in the process of becoming what is called a lay pastor. In July, I will be assigned to a small rural Methodist church. It is a church that I have been speaking to about once a month. I am very excited about this next part of my life's journey.
I love to travel and plan on going to Venice in October. I am an avid reader and am writing a book on the Choctawhatchee river. I have had some non-fiction stuff published. I am a better than average photographer and have won some ribbons. I enjoy it, but just do not want to take any pictures of teenagers. I was yearbook sponsor for over 20 years.
Since I was rasied an only child, I am somewhat a private person and don't really care for the eating lunch with the girls.
I would like to meet someone who would like to do plays, etc. Someone who might ring up and say, "Did you see Piers Morgan last night?" Or "Hey they are running a special on Delta tickets, grab your passport and credit card and let's go to Prague."
And since SEC is a religion of sorts, Roll Tide. My husband graduate from BAMA.
. My closest friends say that I never meet a stranger. I love to get to know people and learn what makes them tick. I enjoy my church, my grief support group, my friends, and enjoying life. I like to go for walks. I like to meet friends for lunch. I love my church. I was married to a wonderful man for forty one years. He said life with me was never dull!!
. After reading a lot of well-written profile introductions (and some not so much, like the one I previously had on here), I'm back for a re-write. Which means that I have to talk about myself, something I don't find particularly interesting (I much prefer hearing what the other person has to say). But looks like some sort of disclosure is required to make this work, so here goes.
For starters I love life and many of the joys of being in the world, such as being with my children (grown), taking photographs, singing, caring for my cat, dog and 2 Betta fish, going out with friends, reading, eating out or grilling a steak, worshiping God wherever he may be found (this is not an inclusive list, by any means).
As an undergrad at LSU I got a BA in music (Voice). Much later I completed an MFA in creative writing. Over the years I have traveled in Europe, Brazil, Mexico, as well as a number of places in our good old USA. One of these days would like to visit the British Isles (my ancestors are mostly from Ireland and Scotland); also Japan seems to be a fascinating country and a wonderful culture to explore.
As mentioned above, my children are grown (no grandchildren yet) and live in Seattle and Baton Rouge. A good part of my adult life was spent in Louisiana and I go back there often. However, I was born and grew up right here in Alabama, the true state of my heart (that is, I love it here). There are a few more details I could add, but like I said, this is not my favorite thing to do; so hopefully this will be enough to connect with somebody out there who is also online looking for a possible soul-mate (OK, I'm a romantic, can't help it) or maybe just looking for someone who wants to go out and share in some fun experiences.
