Date a man from United States. I am a rock climber/traveler that has a great group of friends but wants a bit more out of life. I love seeing kindness from people when nobody is watching or nothing is expected in return. I value honesty and sincerity, and I want to meet someone who becomes more attractive to me the longer I know them. I am looking for someone who can make me laugh, challenge me in ideas, and inspires me to be a better person through their own actions. Also, I have a side of nerdiness and find nerdiness endearing. (nerd at heart)
I'm laid back. Enjoy a lazy sunday or a saturday filled with activities. I'm pretty much down for anything. I make pop culture references and quotes movies, and appreciate people who gets it.
I grew up and went to college in florida. I worked in the cancer research field while saving to travel abroad. Took off to south america, africa, and southeast asia for 1 and a half years, and it helped shape my view of life. I moved to colorado for the outdoors, and i currently work doing research on alcoholism and malaria. I've been busy with work and want to find someone who makes me smile.
Meet single man from United States. I?ve had enough life experience to know how to value depth, honesty and integrity over superficiality and glitter. I want to spend my time with a woman who values health, ?both mental and physical. I'm outgoing, honest, loyal, supportive, and understanding.I'm looking for a women with a good personality who is down to earth and enjoys life.
Date people from United States. I'm a second generation Buddhist who grew up in Boulder, but I'm not a hippie.
I am the singer/songwriter/leader of a rock n' roll trio.
I've spent more time in Nepal than any other place in the world other than Colorado.
I will begin my pursuit of an MBA in the fall.
I'm short but handsome.
I like to run and eat well, but I'm not an exercise junky.
I enjoy food and drink.
I subscribe to the New Yorker and like to use big words.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I really appreciate humor and genuineness and I think that each can enhance the other. I also think that genuineness looks like a disaster typed out, but my browser isn't correcting me and I think it's a real word.
I try to have breakfast or dinner with my grandparents at least once a week because they are awesome and I love them.
I have too many creative outlets, but right now I'm pretty dedicated to improv comedy in Denver. I perform in at least one show every week, which has kind of tanked my social life in Boulder and is part of why I'm on match!
I'm going to have to shave my head after New Year's because I didn't meet my last NY's resolution, but I'm rededicating myself to it again this year. Not the best look for me, but a promise is a promise.
I love music. Making it, listening to it, finding new music. And I really appreciate the good stuff, but I know every word to all the crap.
You might be the type of person that can see the humor in life but still let it deeply touch you. You might want to hand out with me and try new recipes, or teach me some you know, or just go out instead. You might be stunningly beautiful in an effortless and natural way, especially to me. You might sing to yourself when you're alone, or to a room full of people, or have some other way to let out the beauty and the joy and sometimes the sadness. But I really have no idea, because we haven't met. Maybe you're just awesome in some way I've never even thought of.

Meet men and women from United States. I'm the realized vision of a clown, two elephants, and a robot working together to perfectly shell a walnut. That's just every other Tuesday, though.
I'm really good at building and fixing things. Seriously, I can build and fix just about anything. One of these days I'll build a home that only uses the material on the land (excluding glass, probably). It will be WAY nicer than the stick houses you see around town. Modern home building methods are cheap, wasteful and antiquated.
I'm also a musician and a dancer. I prefer Tango, but I've also done a little blues and some break dancing.
I like to climb but I wouldn't say I'm particularly good at it. I do it to keep my sanity in a world gone mad with repression, rules, and bureaucracy.
Date a man from Boulder, United States. Well, I love life. I enjoy all different kinds of things and will try anything.
I love doing things like volunteer work, anything outside, going to concerts, travelling, cooking, laughing, camping, watching movies or TV shows, going out with friends, anything that includes adventure and I like to chill out and relax, also! BBasically, I like to live, love and learn.
Meet single man from Boulder, United States. I consider myself as a very adaptable person. I try to see and understand the other persons viewpoint most of the time. Although I am not claiming that I do not fail ever. My close friends would describe me as very jovial, sometime on the verge of being childish while new acquaintances would describe me as a serious person. I love straight forwardness and an amateur learner of diplomacy.
I would like to start with a good friendship and let it progress naturally. I analyze things a lot, so would like someone who is instinctive and very enthusiastic. I am from engineering background, so I guess a non-engineering background would bring some diversity in the discussions.
Date people from Boulder, United States. While I’m a California boy born and raised, Colorado is definitely where I feel most at home. Running, biking, climbing, hiking, skiing, pretty much anything outdoors perks my interest. Though of all these activities trail running is what truly brings me joy and sets me at peace. When I’m not outdoors I enjoy volleyball (been playing for 15 years), blues dancing, and grabbing beers with friends. I’m not big into clubs and bars, but have been known to visit them once and a while.
In my life I try to strike a balance between my intellectual side and my physically active side. I really enjoy my work studying HIV and immunology, but also enjoy nerding out to Jeopardy or a game of Trivial Pursuit. My ideal match would also have an interest in balancing their intellect with their active side, though an interest in the sciences is by no means necessary. I’m also a big kid at heart, who enjoys joking around, being a bit ridiculous at times, and enjoying the little things that surround us.
I’m looking for a woman who is active, adventurous, and really enjoys the outdoors. Someone who loves to go wander the woods, climb a mountain, or go for a bike ride, but also would be perfectly happy having a movie night at home. My match is someone to whom family and friends are of the utmost importance and someone who can put others before themselves. From my experiences actions always speak louder than words, so doing the little things in any relationship to make the other person feel appreciated are what matter most.
Meet a soulmate from Boulder, United States. I enjoy the simple things in life and am looking for someone to share that with. I love to laugh and be silly but am also looking for someone who can challenge me who can hold a conversation. Music is a big part of my life and I love to go see shows when I can. Some of my favorites are Phish, Panic, Phil Lesh and Friends, The Disco Biscuits. I camp in the summer and ski in the winter, and when I can I like riding my bike around town. I enjoy a night out as much as a relaxing night in, and am looking for someone who I can share some adventures with.
I am looking for a laid back and down to earth girl, that has an alternative/unique view of the world around us. She will definitely need to have a sense of humor, and the ability to not take things too seriously. I am still exploring the world and would like to meet someone who shares the same sentiment. I love to cook and think it is fun to experience new restaurants and events centered around food/wine/beer. I just like to have fun with life and especially with the people in my life. I am looking for some who is open minded and willing to try something new and can challenge me to do the same.
Date someone special from Boulder, United States. I'm generally a laid back person. I love to be silly and try not take life too seriously, but I can and will be serious about things if they really matter. My looking for a match is not a neccesity. I don't like the idea of love meaning people are unable to function without someone or their life is incomplete without someone, that doesn't sound healthy, more like a parasite. I'd rather look at a relationship as a symbiotic relationship where both are benefitting from great company and companionship. I generally would much rather meet someone in person, but I am also more than willing to write back and forth for awhile too. I like the idea of starting off as friends and see where things go. The person I want to have a more serious relation with should be a best friend. It's hard to capture oneself in some words, so that's why in general I like the idea of meeting up in person. Best of luck in your search!
Meet men and women from Boulder, United States. Hey,
if you love Pink Floyd, play the cello, drink only chinese tea, sing "The Gathering" in the shower, like traveling and to utter a primal scream from cliffs top... call me right now I will marry you !!
I am Francois. I'm French...Well, before I moved in Boulder I thought that statement (and the sexy "French accent" clich?) would have been enough to receive a bunch of emails from all the pretty Boulderites hanging out on this site. It turns out I was wrong somehow... ; )
So here is a little more about me :
Just to give you an idea, here are some of the things that make me happy, that make me smile, that make me crazy !
Blueberry muffins, nutella, eggplants & mozzarella
Talking with passionate or very specialized people even if the subject itself seems of very little interest.
Curiosity (major quality)
Chinese teas (not those usual and crappy green teas)
The very moment I listen to a song for the first time and realize it will stay for weeks in my walkman (no I don't have an Ipod !).
Desertic landscapes.
A blushing girl
Her neck (if tattooed I may invite you for dinner)
My job
Cooking
Going to a classical music concert
People that are able to compliment freely (other major quality)
Irony
Those who (try to) call me by my entire first name (I know it s a bit long and difficult to pronounce)
Independence
and last but not least : Traveling.
I always had the opportunity to travel with my family, friends, on my own or for my job. It has become a very important component of my life and it is for sure something I want to share. Some of my favorites places and greatest souvenirs :
A christmas eve in the Mauritanian coastline.
A real Shish kebab sandwich in Istambul
The panorama bar in Berlin (industrial experience)
Les Saintes (small archipelago in the french west indies)
El jamon iberico in Andalousia (South Spain)
Mafate circus in the reunion island
Being almost alone in Chichen Itza ruins in the early morning.
Swimming with colorful fishes and corals in a hawaiian pond and, on the same day, watching the sunset from mauna kea's summit.
Listening the Schubert's 9th great symphony in the Sydney opera.
The white desert of Egypt
Being on an other planet on the Uyuni Salt flat in Bolivia.
Swimming in hot springs at 14000 feet in the Sud Lipez desert
The moon valley in Chile
A trekking around the really remote village of Iruya in northern Argentina
Walking on the Sun Island in Titicaca Lake
The "Cafe y vino" bar in Arequipa, Peru
Climbing up to the summit of the Misti volcano (19000 feet)
My introspective experience in El Refugio Altiplano near Iquitos, Peru. Because travelling is not only watching at new landscapes but also trying to discover what's going on inside your own mind.
and more recently Seattle, I loved it !!
I am here to meet "real" people. I 'd rather have a beer with you on the very day we meet than trying to know each other behind our screen and through mails. I do apologize if my emails "do you want to have a drink tonight ?" seem straightforward but that's my way. I only try to preserve some spontaneity.
looking forward to meeting you
