Date men and women from Colorado, United States. First of all, let’s get this straight: I’ve got a great life. That doesn’t mean I don’t have ambitions; I definitely do, mostly in the areas of education, writing, and travel. If you’re lucky, I might tell you about em sometime. But if you’re looking for the dissatisfied type who whines about everything, you’ve come to the wrong profile.
I’m looking for the rare type of woman who will make my life a little bit more fun, a little bit more interesting, a little bit more meaningful. The thing about me is I’ve got a brain behind the stormy blue eyes (no, I didn’t come up with that description; a gal-pal of mine described them that way once, and I liked how it sounded). The woman I’m looking for is able to engage in intelligent conversation, and can also throw the playful teasing right back at me. I like teasing, when it’s all in fun. Some folks can’t deal with it, either because they don’t get it, or because they haven’t got the self-esteem for it, or whatever. So if you get it and you can wing it right back, you’re a step ahead of the game.
I’d be open to a relationship if the right person came along. So tell me some more about you. Are you outgoing or kind of shy? Wordy or reserved? An ex-cheerleader or an ex-chess-club president? Or something totally different?
Meet a boy from Colorado, United States. I believe relationships are a work of art, but my personal level of enjoyment ultimately depends on the company, not so much the activity, because it is the person I find interesting.
Although I lived in Germany and Austria for a period of my life, I am a Boulder man, at heart, and always have been. I am very comfortable where I am. On any given day, you will probably find me in the mountains or at a yoga studio. Yoga has to be my favorite type of exercise, besides maybe hiking. My ideal day is a snowy morning in the flatirons, followed by a trip to a coffee shop, tea house, or bookstore for some light reading and further relaxation.
I like a woman who is still a girl on the inside. If we understand each other, I might welcome her into my home, and who knows, maybe cook her a meal. I would also let her cook, or by all means we could help each other.
Deep down, I must be a hippie, but I don't usually dress like one. I appreciate thoughtful, open-minded people, and I wouldn't mind hearing from you in the least. Since I am just scouting out this website, I am not a member yet. Send me a wink. Either that or wait to hear from me, if you think that is likely to happen. ;)
Date people from Colorado, United States. Hey, I'm a returning student. I love to learn, discuss, and debate. I like people who challenge me to see things from different points of view. I'm constantly evaluating what I believe. I would like someone who is as passionate about learning and the world around them as I am. I'm active. I like to get out into the mountains and camp, hike, snowshoe, snowboard, whatever is out there, I'll do it. I'm looking for someone who is also very active and enjoys getting outdoors and getting dirty. I also enjoy chatting or reading in a coffee shop. There are few things in this world better than a pint of a local micro-brew. I come from Oregon, so beer is kind of a religion:) You'd better know a little bit about beers and enjoy a pint or two from time to time. I'd like someone who's up for an art museum or the symphony, but also down for some rock out at Red Rocks.
Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I am 28 year old Dr. living in Boulder CO who likes to swim in the lakes, fish, hike, bicycle, and go to micro breweries. Date single boy from Colorado, United States. What makes me smile is seeing kindness toward other people and the environment unfold before my eyes.
I have arrived. This is it and this is the one. I could see and feel it. I know it for sure and without a doubt. Finally!
Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. Originally from Atlanta, GA, I came out to Colorado for school and never looked back. I wanted to be in a place where I could be successful and enjoy life, and this state has been happy to provide me both luxuries. I am lucky and extremely grateful to have family and friends in my who put up with me, but I would also like to meet new people, which brings me here.
When I was a kid, my family used to take two weeks off school each year to visit my grandparents up in Vermont. They had a hut out there, by Mt. Snow, where I learned to ski. It was a quick love for me, and a key driver to getting me to (and keeping me in) Colorado. If it wasn't for snow coming in winter, my favorite season would definitly be summer. I believe the seasons here really make Colorado special, because there's an activity you can always look forward to, no matter what time of year. There are not a lot of activities I won't try once, but camping, hiking, and rafting are three of my favorites during the summer.
When I say I am into music, I need to be clear. Sorry, I don't know song names, what album it was off of, what kind of guitar the lead is playing, etc. I would be pretty terrible at music trivia, and frankly find some music know-it-alls a bit annoying. I came to dance, not listen to a bunch of BS, right?? Red Rocks is my all time favorite venue, and I make it a point to try to see someone I like there every summer. Last year, it was Widespread Panic, Further, and O.A.R. Like the activities, there aren't too many music genres I don't admire.
I work in finance and have a pretty serious job. I'm passionate in what I do, but have a work hard/play hard attitude. I love having serious, deep conversations on all kinds of topics, but can just as quickly talk about the lighter/finer things in life. I'm an extremely good listener and enjoy being a sounding board for my family and friends.
This asks me what I'm looking for, and I can't answer that right now. In some respect, that's why I'm on this site. I really just want to meet someone I have a connection with, who can have fun and has half a brain.
Date a guy from Colorado, United States. I forgot that my profile only had 3 sentences in it for a few weeks so I am updating it now.
here's a little about me.
I work full time and love my job. I work in the arts and I'm blessed to have a stable, enjoyable position working alongside good people.
I moved to Boulder originally as a semi-professional athlete. After about a year I had to start making moves in the career side of my life. Ahhhh the trials and tribulations of endurance athletics...
I do still train seriously and I'd love to meet someone whose as dedicated to certain things outside of work as I am. Not that I don't make time for leisure activities as well.
I'm an artist and currently I'm experimenting with sound and animation. I have plans to go to graduate school and have many ideas about the future of my life including being with someone special.
I do plan on staying around boulder for a while because things are working very well for me.
interests include...
media, philosophy, politics, film, art, dogs, a minimalist lifestyle, small spaces (I live in a 400 square foot apt which keeps me from collecting useless stuff, love, religion, atheists, anarchy, objectivism, beer, coffee, sex, psychology, social dynamics, money, morals etc....
let me know whats up,
Stay Gold,
-Sam
