I enjoy having long discussions over coffee or tea (my personal philosophy is that everyone has their own, unique story to tell and I definitely want to hear it!), but I also just enjoy goofing off as well and blowing off steam with people I love. I love to cook and grow my own food if I have the opportunity. When I have time I like to volunteer on local organic farms to expand my horizons, and learn new techniques!
I am fascinated with world cultures, foreign cuisines, and languages. I can speak Russian (obviously), as well as a little bit of Arabic. I am looking into taking Turkish classes at some point in the near future when I save up some money, (those university courses cost an arm and a leg ya know?)!
Nothing gets me more excited than a discussion about world history, politics, or philosophy. I also love to go to the cinema and new restaurants, drink good beer or wine (especially microbrews :) ), and venture into the wilderness. I was fortunate enough to attend university right in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, so every day I had the possibility for an adventure to a mountain lake, or simply into the woods. I recently took up fly fishing, which is so fun to do. It definitely takes quite a bit of technique, (which I am slowly getting the hang of)
