Date a guy from United States. Let me begin with the basics, my name is Chris and I am 23 years old. Last year I graduated from UCSB with degrees in Religious Studies and Anthropology. I would like to eventually become a college professor, and help mold the young minds of the next generation. Right now I am working two part time jobs; I am trying to save up some money before tackling my bucket list and applying to graduate school.
Education is very important to me. It was one of the highest ideals instilled in both my brother and I when we were young children. I don’t expect everyone to go to college, that is unrealistic, but I do try to encourage a good education, no matter the level. Speaking of my brother, he is my best friend and sometimes my greatest nemesis. I am very proud of his accomplishments, and I highly value his opinion; I am like that with all of my family really. I think it is sufficient to say that family is very important to me. My friends are another very important aspect in my life, in fact I consider them my second family.
I am a modest guy. I don’t like being praised in public all that much, it makes me feel uncomfortable and awkward. I know my strengths: compassion, generosity, and a roll-with-the-punches attitude, to name a few. I am coming to a cross-roads in my life, where it is time to step up my game, as it were. I am looking for a woman who is comfortable being herself. I have plans that I will/need to accomplish in my life, and I am looking for a woman who can be supportive without sacrificing her dreams and goals to do so.
A little more about myself (sheesh, this is uncomfortable to write), I am an avid reader and television watcher. I love all things Science Fiction and Fantasy. I love learning vast amounts of random facts. I like video games, but generally don’t play all that often. I am considered by many of my friends and acquaintances to be a good masseuse, and half-way decent cook. Both of which I really enjoy doing. I love animals of all kinds, and going to the beach. I don’t really enjoy watching sports all that much, but my time at UCSB has made me more appreciative of watching “the game”. I can very much be a home body; If I don’t have to leave the house I won’t. Do not be alarmed however, I am also very much into spontaneous adventures. I live in the forest, so sometimes boredom takes hold of me and I must go and do something. I tend to be slightly silly all the time, I like to make people laugh. I like to work out, both in the gym and at home, when I find the drive to do so. I like to do fun things, go kayaking, hiking/walking with my friends, driving around town, going to bad movies, going to great movies at the midnight premier, I like to go clubbing/dancing (though I am not that good a dancer), and I darts and billiards, swimming and skim-boarding, I am an amateur aquarist and, in general, a nice guy.
If any of this interests you, email me.
All the best,
Chris
