I spend most of my days taking care of my wonderful 9 year old daughter. She keeps me grounded, smiling and helps make me a better person each day. I share co-parenting duties with her mother and suprisingly to most we remain very close friends. Our focus is our daughter and her happiness as it should be. I enjoy kid stuff, scootering, ice skating, rolling down grassy hills at the park. Having her in my life has allowed me the opportunity to appreciate the moments however big or small they may be.
I love basketball. Sports in general tend to make me happy. I volunteer with an organization that provides athletic opportunities for the disabled similar to special olympics. We started basketball season this month and I couldn't be more excited. I truly enjoy bringing a smile to people's faces and nothing does that like volunteering. I like to be active and outdoors, but I enjoy relaxing at home also.
I am a big fan of music in general. Hip Hop is my first love, but I have grown to love many genres with the exception of country. Its just not for me. I do however have great respect for artists who pursue their passion for music. I will always support the live music scene. Meet single man from United States. An awesome Saturday morning starts by waking up early, driving with the windows down and the music up headed to a nice long run with my running club. More often then not I'll grab a smoothie at Jamba Juice on my was home. Later on in the day might be strolling through a farmer's market shopping for produce and maybe a tamale or some Indian food. The evening might bring some cooking, especially if friends are coming over for dinner, or maybe going out to a movie. It used to be that Sundays were hiking days, but I've recently been having a blast playing ultimate frisbee with a great fun crew. After that, well, the couch starts to look pretty good for some Netflix watching. During the middle of the week, I'm at my day job as an engineer and project manager. The job's got its ups and downs but I'm by and large happy at work. I definitely like the stability that it provides. Not to mention a collection of coworkers that all understand each others' humor (for the most part... there's this one guy at work who has absolutely no understanding of sarcasm, I swear he's a copy of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory). I'll also sneak in a little running and music during the week. I'm currently in an a cappella group signing tenor and doing a little bit of vocal percussion. It's not quite The Sing Off material, but it's a lot of fun.
I have lots of interests and am looking for a kindred spirit with whom to have lots of fun. I want to laugh with each other and go on little and grand adventures. If I have to drag you off the couch, it's not going to work out. I want to find someone that challenges me and doesn't mind taking on challenges.
