Meet someone special from California, United States. Hello and welcome to the confines of this box where most of us try to tell everything about us. For most, the 4000 character limit is not enough, for others the 200 minimum, way too much, but I’ll be aiming to max this out. So let's get started….
The simple stuff - I am a proud Lakers, Dodgers, and Indianapolis Colts fan, sad to say they had a rough season, but hopefully they’ll turn it around next year, and with the signing of QB A. Luck looks like it should be a many great seasons to come. Continuing on with sports, I keep myself active as possible by playing in an all men softball league, co-ed softball league, pickup basketball with my high school friends and co-workers and even playing in an adult kickball league. That last part is not made up and it’s really fun (check out my profile pic of me up in the air making an out and making sure the player at 3rd base is not trying to go home to score a run in). If I’m not being active, also currently training for toughmudder (go youtube it, very awesome), so trail running 4-5 miles a week and working out, or out and about as a wknd. warrior as mentioned further down my profile, I do enjoy a quiet weekend at home to sleep in late, relax and unwind by watching tv, even a movie or two (I’m a Blockbuster guy not Netflix, call me old school, but I still have a thing for being able to go into the old brick and mortar stores, browse around, and choose your movie)
The deeper stuff - I think most of my friends would agree that I’m an easy going guy and don't get upset very easily. Most stuff doesn't faze me and few problems are substantial enough to stress over. More often times than not they just roll off the shoulder and are done with. I want to say I’m a good listener, or at least try to be, and am always willing to give a lending hand when needed. Laughter is the best medicine, so if you can laugh with me, you’re already starting on the right path. I’m independent, but do enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
What I’m looking for - If you read my tag line, I truly believe you don’t get to know who you are until you've had to do it yourself. Now this doesn’t mean I won’t catch that huge spider in the bathroom for you… but it’s just a spider so deal with it ;) All kidding aside I want to meet a girl that is motivated and knows what she wants, but won't get all bent out of shape if it happens to not go her way, and just moves forward without thinking too much about it. I also play sand volleyball weekly (while knowing I'm much better on the tennis court or the happy hour after), I treat the LA Film Festival like a vacation (and actually do go on vacation for others), and I think LA's Restaurant Week alone is reason enough to love LA. And I drop a little Swedish occasionally, quote particle physicists randomly, and figure out what tables are eavesdropping into our sushi bar conversations by the laughter generated.
On a smaller scale, I pride myself on doing what is right, especially for friends and family. I just got a hand-written note in the mail from a friend who is battling cancer thanking me for emotional support, a bunch of my homemade chili so they wouldn't need to cook, and everything else in between. That letter is easily the most special thing I've received this year.

Meet single man from United States. I'm a born and raised southern Californian and I don't think I can ever give that up again. I lived in Boston for a bit. It was an amazing experience and I'm glad that I had the brass to do it. An incredible city, but sometimes life just brings you back to your roots. Honestly, how could you give up this CA weather and attitude for the frigid northeast?
As cliche as it is and you read in every profile, I'm a fairly laid back guy just trying to enjoy life as it comes at me. A lot of times it's great and occasionally things happen that aren't amazing, but I'm grateful for everything that's made me who I am today. It's pretty certain that somebody else has things a lot worse than you ever hope to deal with.
I like to live a fairly active life and keep myself fit. I can't say I'm the world's greatest athlete, but love to play team sports, bowl, swim, run and go to the gym. My favorite activity has to be snowboarding in the winter and I can't wait for the season to come. I try to make up for it with wakeboarding in the summer, but friends with boats are few and far between unfortunately.
I love watching sports, mostly baseball and football. I'm a huge Dodger fan, so points if you bleed blue too. Sunday football with good friends, good food and good beer is always a great time. Hockey and basketball are greater live. I even will get into some racing periodically. Have tickets to something? I'm in!
Beyond that, I'm a huge movie buff and can never see enough of them. I have a huge collection and it sometimes gets pretty dorky. I like to play bar trivia so it comes in handy typically. Don't watch a whole lot of television, but when I do it's typically Family Guy, South Park, The Office, True Blood, Californication and Nip/Tuck.

I've had a taste of traveling throughout several states and My first trip outside of the country was last summer where I spent two weeks in japan, which I strongly suggest. Maybe not in mid summer because it's as humid as florida but I would suggest autumn because the colors out there are amazing. Next on my list would be Spain but I would also like to experience other parts of Europe, Australia and Egypt.
