Alas, I haven’t met that fit, happy, intelligent, self-sufficient man who would like nothing better than to see me smile and spend fun times together. We’re not getting any younger! Let’s see…since I’m a teacher, I’m less quiet and shy than I used to be “back in the day.” I’ve been single a good long while, so that’s why I’m pretty independent and have made a great life for myself, including owning my own cutie pie cottage newly decorated in woodland/lodge/country cabin style, which is truly me. Cozy, comfy, simple lifestyle, soft lighting, relaxing music!
You might like (or at least appreciate) some of the same things that are important in my life: keeping fit and healthy, walking, day-hiking, gardening, reading, fishing (would love some current practice), quiet alone time, warm fires on a cold day, restorative yoga, the sparkling “gold coins” of the fall Aspens up Highway 88, all parts of Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Carson Valley; our national parks, cruises, avocados, nearly all music, berries, healthful cooking, Tahoe Creamery vanilla ice cream (yes!), Trader Joe’s, Alaskan salmon, board and card games, ballroom/country dance, organic chicken and dark chocolate, cool fall breezes (my favorite season), not joined at the hip to any phone, believe in old-fashioned romance, holding hands, hugs and kisses, taking our time. And, yes, my cat loves me, especially at eating time.
Maybe we share some pet peeves? Cell phones, texting, licorice, junk/fast food, bright lights and loud noises, rap or other annoying music, being flipped off by rude drivers, crowds and long lines, disorganization, snowmen that melt too fast, weeds in the lawn, weeds in the garden, weeds in general, triple digit temps, loud thunder, beer bellies, failure to maintain good hygiene, stinky cat boxes, dog owners who donРІР‚в„ўt pick up after their pooches, pancakes and hot dogs (yes, I AM 100% American!).
