I enjoy exploring the world with my love as well as weekends away including Carmel. After running errands on Saturday, we might end up up in Sonoma for dinner, take a hike on Mt. Tam or stay at home and cook together. I like walking arm in arm talking anywhere. I like to walk along European cobblestone streets, having a coffee/tea at a sidewalk cafe and touring museums.
In January I went on a trip to France and then onto China. Arround the world in 12 days. All fun in France, all work in China. In April I spoke at a conference in the Bahamas (someone had to do it :)). I like making hotel and plane reservations for Europe, but once there I like to play it by ear for adventure without being glued to an itinerary. I enjoy shopping small stores. I like learning about other cultures. I appreciate art and have recently been to the National Museum in Washington DC (they have the only Leonardo da Vinci painting in the US), the Getty Center in LA, and our own MOMA. In sports I rather participate than spectate.
I am intellectually curious and am a reader, not much of a TVer (but have enjoyed PBS and other series such as Rome and The Wire) and it is fine if my partner watches. I am generous. I attended fundraisers for Compass Family Services (they help battered and homeless women with kids), SF Beautiful, the Swedish Chamber and SF Symphony's Black White Ball (fun!). I like to laugh and am humorous, but it sometimes can takes getting to know someone before my humor shines. I am easy going and calm, but like to spice things up as well (see above trips). I enjoy style, but also like casual. I like good food and the smell of fresh basil, cinnamon and garlic. I love to walk in nature.
I work in and spend a lot of my free time in SF. Kentfield FYI is in Marin Co. While I have written books, I can't spell to save my behind. I am permanently separated long term. My divorce will be final shortly (my ex and I get along and are in agreement). My age, height and waist line are accurate and photos within a year (and they are of me).
