So sadly I have finally come to the realization that most (not all) women are shallow and superficial. I have read (and even responded) to a few of these ads and realized that these lovely, wonderful sounding women are on a pay-to-match dating site. They are single for a reason and I unfortunately am finding out why.
I figured the “nice guy” approach isn’t working or is any one truly looking for a “MATCH”.

I'd like to think I'm a sweet, thoughtful guy, with a good heart. I've been divorced from a 14 year relationship. Want to share my life with a woman who seeks the same, and share similar values of family, honesty, loyalty, commitment, trustworthiness, reliability.
At this stage of my life -- just looking to redefine myself. Looking to meet new friends, dating, activity partner (e.g. - gym dates, day-trips, bike or motorcycle rides, drop the top down and cruise to the beach, catch a Broadway show, or head up to the City for dinner and night of dancing are but a few examples. I am just an ordinary guy with no illusion of grandeur, living in my small modest home and contending with what I have accomplished which is not a lot as compared to my overachieving friends.
But then I don't measure my accomplishment by the number in my bank accounts but rather by how I have enjoyed living my life and in that regards I have done well. I have danced tango in Buenos Aires and other places in the world, fallen in love in Manhattan, stayed up all night dancing in a salsa club in Paris, scuba dived in Belize and Malaysia, watched the sunset at Lake Como with someone I love, gone horseback riding on Lake Toba in Medan, vacationed on Ko-Tao, Thailand, fought with pickpockets and got back my wallet in Barcelona and encountered other interesting episodes.
I work hard to maintain a decent living, strive to live a good life and challenge myself to be a better person in every aspect. I appreciate my good health, friends and family and the opportunity to mingle with a culturally diverse group of people.
