Some 18 years ago I decide to retire and focus on what were my passions (Macintosh computer consultant built a successful business--Then Day Trader in the stock market). Both have been successes and allowed me to visit Europe and Thailand twice in the last ten year. I also go to Vancouver BC twice a year and when possible make trips to Hawaii. Both speak to my heart.
I love the arts, was President of the Nevada County Arts Council. Music really speaks to me, Classical, Mowtown, RB 60's, 70's, World, Celtic etc. Dance WOW, some 15 years ago I stated a tradition, to celebrate my birthday I would take my daughter and friends to see The Alvin Ailey American Dance Troupe. I love all of the MGM Classics. I dance in a local Halau (Hawaiian).
I play racquetball 3 or 4 times a week, love to play cards, drink red wine. I love bargains, getting somethings I really like 50% off. I tend to buy what I want when it is on sale. I like my money to go a long way. I live simply, but with comfort.
I love to cook, and friends tend to like it. While visiting San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, I finally got a handle on how to dance salsa Yea....I love to dance but somehow salsa was challenging..
I have been blessed to be able to do what I truly love, great health, some wonderful friends and enough serious challenges/mistakes to keep me growing.
There is so much that I do not know and have not done. I wonder what that may be? I hope the lady that comes into my life will love some of what I love and love some of what I do not know. She may open new doors for me.

I am a Vietnam Vet and spent many years in the USAR as a Drill Instructor. I am not fanatical, but I like to be organized. In spite of this, I'm quiet, not standoffish, just quiet. I have two great kids with wonderful families, two grandaughters, and two more on the way this summer.
