Date single man from Buena Park, United States. As a retired aerospace engineer and a parent of two boys, I have been a very busy person. Most of my free time during the raising of my two sons was involved in their education including all aspects of their after school activities. As parents, my wife and I took in several boys who had decisipline problems. We used our home life style as an example to help them. I came home from work and many times found our living room full of kids. I woujd get a big bag of Mac-Jack burgers and start in. These boys and girls had personal questions and problems that needed discusion. Sometimes we would talk all night. I would get a quick shower, change clothes and go back to work.
While on vacation in 2009 I contracted an infection in my foot and neglected it while caring for my ill wife. "kit" passed later that year and I have been on the mend ever since. In the process I suffered some damage and am rehabilitating myself by volunteering at the Buena Park Senior Center. I currently work on the food distribution program and the social club. I am a music lover with a preference for heavy metal but enjoy most forms except for some country western. I love to travel and look forward to aquiring a new RV this year. I enjoy some movies, target shooting and I am still learning to use more of the capapilities of my computer with a renewed interest as I have just accepted a position as CEO/ Treasurer of a small international internew matketing corpotation as well as entering into this world of dating again via the internet.

Here is the actual story on my physical co0ndition:
Nine years ago I was very healthy and active. I had never had high blood pressure or any other health issues. Then one day I had a brain aneurysm, which basically messed up the left side of my body. The doctor said you are sometimes born with some bad blood vessels in you brain, which can sometimes hemorrhage with no warning. Most of the time when this happens people die, but I obviously didn’t. They also rechecked my head to make sure there are no other bad blood vessels and there are not. Since I have gotten past that that incident, I have once again been very healthy and have no other health issues.
I live independently in my own little home. I do not use a wheelchair around my house. I walk. I have a power wheelchair which goes in the back of my Honda minivan. I only use the chair when I go to things which involve a lot of walking like: the theater, sporting events, beach towns, Disneyland or anywhere else. I’ve only had the chair 36 months and it has given me a whole new freedom to do all kinds of things I like to do, and I like to do lots of things. Life is good for Larry.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
I’m just looking for someone to hang with in my very busy life. If it would happen to turn into more then that, that would be great.

Meet a man from United States. From my screen name you've probably figured out that I'm a car guy. You're right! I've been an owner, driver, engineer and program manager for a variety of motorsports racing programs. I took an early retirement pakage a few years ago, and now my former employer sends me a check every month not to come to work. Isn't that Great!!! Do I miss it? Yes and No! The challange, excitement, exotic places, and the good people made the whole experience very intoxicating, but, to be out of the office politics, empire building, and those endless meetings is a big plus. My current involvement in the sport is at a hobby level with my brother. On occasion, I have been asked to do some consulting, and this has been rewarding as it has given me the opportunity to give something back.
With retirement I've started a new chapter in my life. Moved back to California(thank God I don't have to shovel any more snow), and looking forward to "my time" and finding the right person to share it with. In the past, I've traveled extensively, and been to many places, but, unfortunately, rarely had, or took the time, to "smell the roses". Hopefuly, there'll be an opportunity now to revisit and explore some of those wonders. I haven't been to Australia or New Zealand yet, but they're definately on my "A" to "Z" list.
When not traveling, I can be happy doing a lot of things. Reading a book, or watching an old movie can be relaxing. Good conversation, with someone special, is something I look forward to. Walking down the beach, with the sand between our toes, going on a picnic, or just cuddling on the couch would fit the " it doesn't get any better than this" catagory. Affection, public or private is essential, and to touch or be touched is a great way to communicate.

I'm an intelligent girl, I did well all throughout school, and am going to attend Cypress College for writing and music. Also I plan to attend a cosmetology school to get my license, although I haven't decided on which school I'd like to go to yet. I definitely see myself going far with whatever path I choose to go down, I'm very dedicated to what I do.
