Date people from Brea, United States. I've got to be honest...if you read my caption, this whole process has left me cynical. Perhaps that is the reason I've never finished profiling myself. It almost feels counterproductive to describe myself when in most cases, it will never be read unless there is an initial attraction to a few pictures posted. If someone finds you attractive, I can almost guarantee the next step is how tall the person is, salary, etc which truly has nothing to do with who I am as a person.
Reading some descriptions does bring a smirk or chuckle...I'll admit. I love things like "I'm simple or low maintenance" but looking further into their ideal match, they're looking for someone who makes more than six figures. Sorry, but that doesn't strike me as someone being simple or low maintenance. More tragic for someone like me...it seems that every woman taller than 3 feet is looking for someone that's 6 foot tall...oh well...click!
I don't mean to sound rude or wish to waste people's time. I know people who have found success on this site but I can't help but be a cynic. Where's the mystery, where's the intrigue, where's the excitement if you pigeon hole yourself into so many specifics???
Make whatever assumptions you want about me based on a few sentences. At the end of the day, they're nothing but assumptions. I could describe myself exactly like everyone else...I'm fun, witty, honest, hard working...make myself sound like everything people are looking for provided they found me attractive to begin with but it would be a lie.
I would describe myself one way, my friends another, and my family yet another way. On a site like this, the only opinion that matters is the opinion of the person you take the time to meet. And, the only way another person can make a fair assessment of who you are is if they stick around long enough to get passed whatever walls we all build around ourselves.
