Hse is my world. I work as a surgical tech for about 2 years, going for 3, but im going back to school this fall to go for my ba and start the RN program. I love to stay active, hikes, jog, soccer(played for more than 12 years).
As far as dates, im not the first to go to the movies witha date, as it would be a shame to sit the and stare at a screen for a couple of hours when we could be chatting and getting acquainted with eachother. Possibly see a concert, then just walk around and talk. I like plans to spontaneously evolve!
I enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis. I look for the good in everyone. I'm playful and very much prone to laughter. While inspriing people through humor, romance, or anything that can and will ignite the passion within them makes me happy. Maybe it might even make you smile, too.
So, what would i like in my main lady? Well one who knows what she wants and who has the confidence to go about it in a moderate way. that has a good balance between her time and time spent with me. sense of humor, keen intellect( not the kind from books) and a open mind. Date a boy from Azusa, United States. I'm Jim, and I'm basically the strong silent type. I just got out of the Army, spent the last 5 years living on the east coast, just got back into town. I joined the Army Reserves and I'm going to be starting school soon in the fall. Until then I've signed up to get certified to work security (beats flipping burgers!) and I've also been training to take the physical assessment test that is the first step in applying to the Fire Dept
I'm soft spoken, almost shy, but I open right up once you get to know me. I don't like drama, and try to do things right by people. I'm honest and generally wear my heart on my sleeve lol.
Generally I just hang out, chat with friends, and play the occasional video game, but don't worry, I'm not addicted to Warcraft or anything like that (though I prefer shooter and racing games on the PS3 over fantasy games)
I grew up in a town called Azusa, CA, just out side of Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley. I was active in the Boy Scouts, going on lots of hiking and camping trips. Somehow, Army camping just isn't as fun lol I did eventually make Eagle Scout.
I was also active in the Cross Country and Track teams in high school, as well as the JROTC. I earned my Varsity letter in my senior year.
Hmmm....I guess I'm also addicted to using "lol" a lot :P
But a paragraph here isn't really gonna help, just start talking to me, and I'll tell you what you want to know!

While I am pretty driven about my career, I also like to go out and have fun. But I also have to manage my time efficiently (which is another reason I'm on here). I am usually up for anything and everything. I feel that if you are with the right people, you can have fun no matter where you are. I believe a huge part of being mentally healthy is being physically healthy and I love working out regularly. I’m not much of a dancer (except when I’m tipsy of course) so not really into the clubbing scene anymore. But I do love going to pubs/lounges/house parties where you can just chill and chat with friends.
I pretty much am a huge nerd. Love museums, learning how things work, and reading about history. Every year I have obsessions with certain historical periods. This year I'm learning about the Roman Empire. Have already read 5 books on it. Ok maybe watching Spartacus had something to do with it.
I take things day by day and don’t really like to plan things way in advance unless I really have to. I’m also pretty spontaneous and sometimes like to do things spur of the moment. A perfect example: One day I woke up and decided I wanted to go to Russia. Two weeks later, bought a guide book and plane tickets and went for 10 days with my dad and brother. Ok, a bit extreme i know, but you get the point.
I have also lived all over the US: grew up in Philly, did most of my schooling in Indiana, then San Francisco, Chicago, Houston (where my family lives), and now Southern California. So Ive pretty much been a nomad my entire life, but I would say those experiences have made me into a well-rounded adaptable person.
All in all, I’m pretty laid back and go with the flow. But I am also very complex. Does that even make sense??
