They are teen agers and I am so proud of the little ladies they have become. I have a great career that I really enjoy. It's a constant challenge but very rewarding. I get to spend quite a bit of time traveling for work and for fun. Those are only a few things that make me the luckiest guy on the planet.

As far as describing myself, and hopefully without sounding conceited, I would say that I am responsible, intelligent, honest, faithful, have manners, have a good career, am self-sufficient, a father of a beautiful daughter (she's 12 now - almost 13), a cancer survivor, an ex-marine, have parents that I greatly admire, enjoy swimming, enjoy the outdoors, enjoy camping and hiking, enjoy tropical destinations such as Kauai yet enjoy the Palm Desert area as well - and if you want to know more, you'll simply have to ask.

I had a very lengthy bio written, however, I ultimately decided that it was just too much. Here is the short form:
For starters, I am pretty easy-going. I love music, movies, most sports (except American Football), good food/restaurants, red wine . . . the list goes on and on, oh and I ride cross-country (what you would call a mountain bike) as much as possible. I enjoy trying new things, discovering new places, and last minute trips to wherever. I dislike pollution, flakiness, lowbrow humor, spaghetti and pork chops (long story.)
I do own a passport, but surprisingly have had a difficult time finding anyone to go and get it stamped with. My parents are still happily married after 45 years, and I am rather close with my (vast) extended family also. I am a gentleman first and foremost, and I am not easily distracted. I am a self-employed IT consultant (emphasis on the "employed" part) and I try not to let work interfere with my personal life. Born and raised in the Midwest, I moved to CA in 2001.

I am clean cut, relatively conservative with an adventurous and spontaneous streak. In the last few years, I really enjoyed Halloween and have been dressing up. This year, I even made my own Sponge Bob costume -- won first prize at work. Nothing really bothers me much because I am easy going and well tempered. Often I am shy and sensitive. I can't count the number of times I teared during a movie. My weekends are spent hanging out at a lounge or club, going to art galleries and museums, watching movies and going to the gym.
