Meet someone special from United States. I play well with others and have a clue. Poetry, literature, and travel are always options. On a whim, I'll drive up to Summerhaven on Mt. Lemmon very early in the morning and have coffee. I write regularly and work on projects with other writers - but, I also work as an accident reconstruction consultant, so, it's not unusual to end up in Manchester, New Hampshire working on a crash event. I'm a movie nut and critic. Odd behavior includes building museum-quality models and high-end special effects models. I also collect movie memorabilia.
I love animals, but currently do not have any running around. Being around children keeps you young (in my purview) and provides a good perspective on reality. Providing "life lessons" to them is important for their development. My philosophy is to leave them with an indelible impression that makes them want to meet life head-on and to know that they can make things happen.
I tend to be an independent thinker and tend not being around clingy friends and neighbors. I do repairs on my own schedule and am a fairly proficient handyman. I don't miind chores.
History and technology are highly exciting to me. I tend to indulge in projects that increases my appreciation for them. I really like sci-fi and drama, old English literature, western lore, and sweeping spectacles. A balloon trip over the Serengeti plains in Africa would be exciting to me, or attending Oktoberfest in Munich - although I could only handle about one tankard of ale (not much on the alcohol thing).
As to the ideal match, she would need to have some tolerance for the above, but could certainly feel free to express herself and not concern herself with "mind games" and repercussions. I would expect her to be a free spirit and to exercise some autonomy. She could expect some very deep respect and unbridled love. I spent nearly twenty-two years in law enforcement and would supply the security and peace of mind in generous amounts. I like to do adventurous, albeit non-risk taking, things and like to travel at a moments notice. So, if your bags are packed, hold on for the ride.
