Being the social creature that I am, I love getting out meeting people, old and new, going to the theater, art galleries or museums, leisurely romantic walks in the park, playing on the swings, discovering those great holes in the wall restaurants, small and aging curiosity and antique shops that wreak of our diverse, and mostly, unknown history, local wineries and especially cheese shops. (Hey, what do you expect, I’m from Wisconsin. Got to love that cheese!!!) Finding small live music clubs and dancing the night away, preferably to Blues and/or Jazz. I love the gifts of life we have been given. They enrich us in ways unimaginable.
What gets me turned on the most are the people, those honest, friendly and hardworking, who by their actions, make this a better world. You can feel the richness of life in their presence, if you only stop for a moment and “smell the roses”.
The world abounds in too many unhappy, jaded and negative people. I’m not one of them, and I hope you aren’t either!

One last point. My younger son, who is going to college and lives with me, and my grandson, are both highly allergic to cats, so no cats, it's a deal breaker. Sorry, but that's the way it is. We do have a Basset Hound puppy, about six months old. She is a little stinker, but sooooo cute, filled with puppy energy and full of life.
