I have a heart of a poet and hands of a carpenter the independent spirit of cowboy and the desire for adventure of a hitchhiker .I Have recently taken my Mother to a friends house and I am ready for adventure . I believe that love is not just a word but a heart in action, I am passionate about the things I do like photography and.wood working and spend a lot of time enjoying both these creative outlets. I will be having a show at my house once a month . By the way my house is a hub of activity . It was made to give refuge and is used to that end . There is a message therapist here ,we do yoga twice a week ,and we meditate once a week ..I am driven to create beauty and offer refuge in both my apartments and my house . There is a garden outside and lots of flowers . I love flowers.
My former wife and I started three nursery schools, after spending 15 years counseling disturbed youth , you might be familiar with at least one of them Second street school . This Nursery school was a natural place to practice making a sense of refuge and I enjoyed every minute of it . I love children and it was a special opportunity to interact with them on a daily basis . The children know me as Scotty dog .
I have been thinking lately that I would like to get back to film making . I went to Cal arts when I was young and majored in two areas, writing, and film . The films back than were poetic and the writing then and now is poetry .

At this point in my life...I want to very simply share my passion for people, my caring for others, and my want and need to walk "hand in hand" with that special someone. People I have met throughout my life consistently decribe me as a genuinely nice and caring person. While this may sound "vanilla" and boring...it's not. I lead with my heart...I live my life both professionally and personally based on integrity. That's all we really have isn't it?
I have a very quick wit and sense of humor. I truly enjoy seeing other people laugh. It's so very healthy...and eases some of the day to day stress that we all face from time to time.
Probably my proudest accomplishment in life is being a father. I have 4 children and soon to be 3 grandchildren. As challenging as it can be as a single dad...the rewards are so much greater.
I adore my kids and they adore me.
Secondly, my career path for three decades included working in the wellness field with communties throughout North America. I worked to help facilitate stronger individuals, families, and communties to tackle such hard issues as alcohol/drug abuse, sexual
abuse, domestic violence, and youth gang/violent activity. What an honor it was to be invited into these communties to assist with
the healing process.
I was on Match several years ago...and I realize that it seems "standard fare" to say you are a
"romantic". Let's face it...writing our descriptions can seem like a job interview/resume. However, I really do love that "stuff" i.e. leaving notes/cards on you windshield...unexpected flowers...buying unexpected gifts...by the way...I am famous at
buying a great clothes shopper for women. What I miss most of all right now is that intimacy that comes from a simple touch of holding hands...sitting side by side...nudged up against one another...cuddling. All the rest is a culmination of what begins from that first glance.
I miss that tingling you get when you know you are going to see her...and when you do see her face to face.
Having said all that...I don't need everything all at once...having been on match before...I realize that while we might have initial attractions based on pictures...winks...etc...it takes time to build that "house". I am very patient (have to be with 4 kids...lol).
I dream of being on that white sandy beach...feeling the sand between my toes...holding hands...and maybe even a warm tender kiss.
