I have been in the fitness industry for a long time and am looking for a man who also takes care of himself.... this is a major deal breaker for me. I keep reading about men who want a girl who can dress up but isn’t afraid to get dirty. Go to a nice restaurant and have good manners and social skills, but then hit the outdoors for some camping the next night. Pick me! Pick me! I’ve got the pearls and the rhinestones! I’ve got the sneakers and jeans! Some of the best conversations I have had were sitting around the campfire in front of our (gasp) tent others were sitting around the table with a glass of wine or a beer immersed in conversation about everything and nothing at all. I do have to wonder though, are there really that many women out there who are rude to wait staff and so afraid to “get dirty”? What a bummer for them, since no one who has an honest job is beneath my respect, and some of life’s best adventures happen without make-up on! Anyway, I’m sort of like one of those paper dolls that little girls play with. I can go from “Professional Barbie”, to “Camping Barbie” to “Evening Barbie” pretty easily. And no Barbie is complete without her Ken. My Ken is handsome, active, in good shape. Not too forward but openly interested in me. He does not want to rush into anything, but doesn’t have a problem with long term relationships either.
But enough about Barbie, she is not real, but I am! I know life is not always vacations and parties. ThereРІР‚в„ўs work, and family, and juggling schedules and priorities, finances and chores. If your life is baggage free, then your not really living are you? I would not consider a serious relationship with anyone until I have witnessed how my potential partner handles stressful situations, or conflict or the day to day balancing act of life. Honesty and communication are going to keep problems from building. Humor and flexibility will soften the edges. I believe that real love still exists. I believe that one woman can love one man so much that a lifetime together is not enough. I believe that sex is the most valuable gift we have to give, but if you give it away to too many people then it loses its value.
I have worked hard over the last 18 years to take care of and provide for my family. I have spent a long time taking care of others and have loved that time, however, somewhere along the way, I sort of lost myself. So now I'm trying to get to know the woman I've become.
