Meet a soulmate from United States. I moved to Alabama from Washington, D.C. three years ago to enroll in graduate school at Auburn University and to be closer to family in Columbus, GA while I was in school. With the intent of moving back to DC after I graduated. Turns out life doesn't always go according to plan.
The graduate degree worked out as planned but the return to DC hasn't. The same family ties that drew me down here have now compelled me to stay and get involved in the family business in Columbus. So it looks like it's going to be sweet home Alabama for me for a while.

I think that obviously creates unreasonable expectations and adds far too much pressure to simply meeting someone and trying to get to know them better.
