I’m crazy about photography and the art behind it. But my main passion is my son. He is my hero. His smile keeps me smiling.
I have had many friends describe me as a caring and honest person with a passion for life and its experiences. True. But to me, that passion is best spent sharing with others, especially someone you care about. And when that person cares for you as much as you care for them, things are just that much better. Things can get a little silly with me sometimes, but your time is suppose to be spent well.
My office uniform is generally jeans and a button down with casual shoes. But I really love my off hours uniform of jeans, t-shirt and flip flops. Much more comfortable, in my opinion. Speaking of opinions, I have strong opinions on some subjects, but really enjoy listening to others’ opinions too., my mind can grow and learn from those opinions and life experiences.
As for my ideal match, I don’t believe I know the answer to that. It takes two to make a match. And no one is perfect 100% of the time. The only thing I can truly say is I cannot accept lies. I’ve been through enough of them. So, if you are honest, loving and caring with a lust for life, then you and I could be an ideal match…Or not. But no matter what, you won’t get lies, only opinions, from me. I'm old fashion , it's a southern thing.

I am a Southern Christian gentleman, Alabama farm born and raised, then moved to the city after High School. I don't dip or mud ride, but I do say yes ma'am and yes sir and I have manners. Been known to fish though. I live with a few live animals. Family is important to me and I consider my closest friends to be family.
I've been told I'm smart and pretty quick-witted and that I should have been a comedian, a lawyer or a comedic lawyer (is that a job?). I don't know about all that but I do enjoy making people laugh and having a good time. I'm easy going and quick with a smile. I am a MAN, yes a gentle-man but a man and if you are looking for a wuss who can't make a decision, I'm not your guy.
Hobbies
I enjoy reading. Lately some entrepreneurial books also some thrillers. My life is not a perpetual orbit of my couch, but if my favorite shows are on I will watch some TV. I enjoy watching movies. I have a Wii that I play with my kids.
I like going to the beach (build a great sand castle) and to the mountains (ski like a fool). I enjoy exploring, going to new places, trying new restaurants and foods. Recently, I've become quite a sushi enthusiast, who knew it was so good?
I enjoy listening to classic rock as well a lot of other current music that's not too rap, and I like some country. My kids are often surprised/embarrassed when I know/sing the lyrics to the songs they like.
I cook a bit, and am teaching myself more. My kids tell me I can cook a mean breakfast, I agree. I can even make you fried eggs if you get tired of scrambled. And who doesn't?

I'm brutally honest. I find it hard to SUGAR COAT. My sister has said I have a dog like sence of loyalty. I think this was because I was in the Army and have been to war. ( Along time ago, not crazy and sleep very good at night ) The X wife has said the next woman in my life will be a lucky lady.
I don't need a woman in my life. I can cook, clean, wash fold and iron my own cloths. I want a companion an equil in life. Someone to stand beside me not behind me. She will have a good ear for listening, a shoulder to lean on and and arms to hold me while we snuggle. She can expect the same in return.

Date single man from United States. Moved back to Mobile after a year-and-a-half exile to Montgomery and Delaware (yep....I said "Delaware") . I've finally been back for 10 years in my home area, and I can't imagine leaving again. I own my own home (which hopefully I will have finished remodeling at some point) and I truly love the Gulf Coast.
Bookish, love reading, cooking, nature shows (fascination with sharks), and BBC America. I go to the gym regularly and I enjoy playing golf and "outdoorsy" stuff, such as camping, fishing, etc...although I wish I could do it more often. I'm looking forward to meeting friends if nothing else, but mostly interested in settling down (to be blunt). Sane, stable, never been married and no children.
I've traveled quite a bit and lived in many different places: some due to the military, and some due to work (with a different company). I was in the Air Force for 4 years and the Army National Guard for 3. Lived in Germany, Los Angeles, and Atlanta...just to name a few.
What I'm looking for? Hmmmmmmmm.... a best friend would be nice...please, no co-dependants. I enjoy children, and would like to have some of my own someday. Although at my age, I've come to realize that being a step-father would be a great alternative.
