I'm pretty easy going and enjoy having a good time whether that is cuddling on the couch watching a good movie, cooking out with friends and family or being out on the town with that someone special. I grew up playing sports and have been pretty active all my life so if given the choice to watch a sporting event on TV or how to care for ferns in the humid southern regions, I will choose the sporting event 9 out of 10 times:) LOL (Don't judge, one day I might need to know how to care for ferns in the south:) Knowledge is power after all!
As I said, I love sports of any kind, all kinds of music, a good workout, being outdoors, and trying new things (at least once anyway!) However, my hard limits are anything to do with sharks, snakes, or hurling myself out of a perfectly good airplane. Will never happen I don't care how good looking or sexy you are :)
I love to travel and enjoy seeing new places. I have been fortunate enough to visit some pretty amazing places so far and eventhough I really haven't had much time for travel lately, hopefully that will change in the near future. I have some big trips I want to cross off my bucket list and some small trips that throwing a bag in a car on Friday afternoon will handle:)
I love Italian food, seafood and a great steak on the grill. My ideal date would be sitting on the beach as the sun goes down with a six pack of beer (for both of course:) scheming about what to get into later in the evening or jumping in the car for great conversation and stopping when the feeling hits us. I love to be spontaneous and like someone who can just go with the flow as well.:)
While I love getting dressed up for a fancy night on the town, because let's face it, date night is important at any stage of a relationship. I really enjoy being casual and in the moment because that's when all the great things happen! I like to keep things real and know where I stand with someone, that's when I'm at my best! I love to laugh and love making that someone special laugh too, life is too short for anything else!

Cooking is NOT my forte, I am a better assistant. I do like to bake. A good cold beer or drink at the end of the day with some music playing (out or at home) is always better when you have someone to share it with.
I do like to be active too- hiking, biking, walking, the occasional pick up basketball game with my kids. I have played pool & darts, albeit badly. I have just started training for a 5k, maybe a10k after that? I played racquetball what seems like a lifetime ago & would love to get back into it. I have always wanted to white water raft & deep sea fish- looking for someone to teach me or learn with me.
I have two great kids that I love to the moon and back. As much as I love them, I would like to have a man in my life that I can share everything with- good, great, bad & ugly. Quiet days, sporting events, going to see a good band play, movie nights, hanging with friends all are great times.
I work from home (I telecommute) which makes it hard to meet people. I like my job & love that I don't have to commute or "dress" for work, but my coworkers live all over the country- none in the Birmingham area. All of my family is in the north east, also making it hard to meet people.

I am not interested in attempting to juggle my dates- so far there has been no problem with that. I am also not a fan of lying or cheating.
