The only time I'm sure is when he needs money or gas. As all parents profess, but few do so honestly, I can say that my son is really awesome. He is respectful, talented, intelligent, and stays out of trouble; for which I am very thankful to God. However, he is gone much of the time, and he has a mother, so don't let that inhibit you if you are otherwise interested. I do not want to raise anyone else's children (or be a "father figure"), and I don't want anymore children, so if you have young children or want children, move onto another match. I have also ridden the marriage train, and am not interested in purchasing another ticket
I have a B.S. in Accounting and a Juris Doctorate in Law, and have owned my own law firm for twelve years. That in and of itself should tell you that I am educated, intelligent, driven, dedicated, of good moral character (despite the plethora of lawyer jokes and those few that discredit the profession), and that I work a lot. I am financially stable and self-sufficient and am not looking for anyone to take care of me. Neither am I looking to take care of someone else. I've been there and done that. I want someone that I can absolutely spoil, but who has independent means and resources. I was not born with the proverbial silver spoon stuck up my proverbial ...., and I do my own yard-work and house-work. I like to keep my house and yard clean and properly maintained, and devote a good deal of my weekend time ensuring that it is done.
I am of Italian/Irish descent and, as is obvious from my pictures, I look more Irish than Italian. Contrary to the stereotypes, I am really laid back, easy going, and mild tempered even though I am a red-headed Italian. However, I have a low tolerance for stupidity and base canality. If I have to explain a joke to you or if your idea of humor is the Wild Boyz, move onto another match. My sense of humor is dry, twisted, and sarcastic, but never hurtful. I like to use word play and puns in my humor; and I can find humor in almost anything, especially politics and current events. Although I am Italian/Irish, I am not Catholic, nor do I like to go out and party. I absolutely abhor dancing (even with Budweiser's help). However, I do enjoy live music and I drink moderately. By moderatley, I mean situational drinking such as at sporting events, while on the water, camping, grilling out, while cutting the grass, etc.
I am an Christian of the Southern Baptist persuasion, and it is important to me that you are also a Christian of at least the Baptist denomination. I say that because my faith is strong, I'm too old to "convert" to another religion, I don't handle snakes well, I do good to speak English and would do no good speaking in tongues, and unless I get a really good case, I'm not very charismatic. I also love traditional Christian songs, especially Christmas songs (but not in July). Having said that, I do not attend church. Go figure.
I love to ride my Harley or my boats to express my "wild" side, and I am pretty much up to doing anything (I don't do windows, drag, interventions, ironing, board or card games, or knitting), especially if it is outdoors. For an "old" guy of 41, I can do anything that I could when I was 19 (at least once). I am healthy, physically, emotionally, and mentally; and do not have to take medication to get up (no viagra thoughts, ladies), to go to sleep, for depression, anxiety, nerves, stress, etc.Therefore, I find it hard to understand or tolerate in a partner.
