Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. 66 year old Country Boy, raised on a 100 acre New England farm in Rhode Island. Did the 4-H and Future Farmers of America scene. Showing animals throughout New England fairs. My horse was our "3 town" Regional High School's first mascot in 1961. Went off to New England College, Henniker, NH after high school. Joined the Family Textile Business after graduation. And truly "working" to the position of President of our xpansion plant in Madisonville, TN. Due to declining business in textiles, I resigned and started a machine shop and welding fabricating business. This ran for 35 years till its' economic demise in 2003. At which time the "Iraq War" was in full swing. I had proposed to take the shop to Iraq for a "Vocational School" only to loose all equipment in that business venture. But gained the status of being a "Government Contractor". In pursuing "Iraq", Hurricane Katrina came along. Although there was no contracts available in my field(welding, fabricating, equipment repair) FEMA suggusted I travel to New Orleans and "set-up shop" in the capacity of "support". Well, I had no problem picking up business. Most of the "Clean-up Contractors" did not bring any of their own support people and equipment. Alas, I'm here in New Orleans back in business! Single and looking for that right person. In the 5 1/2 years I've been here, she has not appeared, ha. Tough to find a "Country Gal" here in the City of New Orleans. Looking for someone to take me sight-seeing. Show me more than Bourbon St. I do not drink and seeing Bourbon St. twice is enough, ha. I love to dance and you should tooxxoo? I've not done any sight-seeing since I've arrived, xcept for Katrina damage, ha. Have not even been to "The Rock Bowl". Flea Markets and yard sales are dooable.

My two favorite things are spending time outside just enjoying nature and hanging out with friends sharing a good glass of wine or beer is a great time for me. I love my kids, grandkids, and my dogs; and my truck doesn't even make the list. I like football, and NASCAR (don't need to see every race);I have my own hair, teeth, job, car and home. I can carry on a decent conversation on just about any subject. And, I have long ago realized that I am not a stud or God's gift to women. I like quite nights just hanging out doing nothing if that is what is going on at the moment. Also not too shabby with a saw and hammer, grew up on a farm in Kentucky.
