Meet single girl from California, United States. My least favorite thing has to be talking about myself, or at least typing about myself. In the time since I've been on and off this site, I've never updated my profile. I recently read it and it is definitely time...
I'm much less idealistic than I was a few years ago. Apparently life is not perfect and I need to reevaluate :) I was pleasantly reminded recently, that chivalry exists. I was mildly confused by this man walking in circles around me until I realized what he was doing. Clearly I'm capable of opening my own doors and making it across the street in one piece, however, there's something to be said for the feeling you get when someone does it for you...
I'm generally an easy going person. I can be a bit guarded, due to my experiences of life, which I realize can easily be construed as being uninterested or standoffish. I'm neither of those things, but I've learned you have to assess before you dive. I value honesty and I always say exactly what I mean...as best I can anyway...I'm not saying astrology is the end all, but I am very much a Cancer...if that means anything to you, feel free to google it. A little research never hurt anybody ;).
I try to work out at least 5 times a week, usually hot yoga, which I also teach. I work out not only for the aesthetic result, but for the commitment to being challenged on a regular basis...it translates to life.
Family, blood and otherwise, mean the world to me...crazy time and all.
That said - I'm interested in men who are honest, and that doesn't mean you just don't tell lies! Be honest with yourself about what you want - if you don't want a relationship, say so; if you do want a relationship, say so! Etc ;). I like men who are physically fit (see commentary above), a man who practices yoga/will try yoga/will take my class just to see me smile...it's the effort that counts :). The novelty of great weather never wore off and I appreciate being outdoors and trying new things. I'm social and love group gatherings but also appreciate lazier nights in --i'm a closet chef and love movies and "good/bad" TV. I have a puppy, Maverick who is awesome. I work in digital marketing and love my job --I work with some of my best friends and everyone is very normal :) I'm a total foodie so restaurants and cooking are a big part of my life. Playing sports has always been a big part of my life. I ran track at SC and recently got into CrossFit. I typically go to the gym 3-4 times per week. Yes boys, I like throwing some weight around in the gym, but I also have a lot of fun getting girlie at the nail salon afterward ;)
