I know how to have a great time and I've calmed down a lot, but can easily turn on the switch depending on the chemistry between who I'm with. I've made great friends by putting myself outside my comfort zone and I've learned so much from every experience, but I just haven't found that one element that keeps me on my toes- hopefully this attempt will change that.
I can cook, I'm clean, and I'm very open-mind. I have a great sense of humor, can contribute to nice, even intensely debateable conversation, and I'm very understanding. I've dated women from various backgrounds, so I don't have a particular type, but I know what I like. I want to meet someone that appreciates individuality, can be silly, has a little sass, but most importantly just loves and respects herself- now that's attractive. So what am I all about? Working hard and playing hard. What really drives me is being totally dedicated to whatever I do,, achieving goals, and reaping the rewards. I have worked hard my entire life and am ecstatic that I am finally on my way to where I want to be and what I want to do.
I was born and raised in the Bronx and just moved out here to SF to take a sweet job in private equity. I play with spreadsheets most of my day... ohhh yeah super fun stuff.
I'm usually quiet at first, but as you get to know me I open up and you'll probably wanna tell me to shut up and stop talking. A psychologist I met (not as a patient =P) described me as being introverted with extroverted tendencies.
I think of myself as the nice guy who finishes last, but I'm definitely not a pushover.
I can be impulsive and obsessive sometimes. My fluttering brain will latch on to something and want to learn everything there is about it and then for some reason move on to another subject.
I like to cook for people so ya you can come over! I grew up in a restaurant (I know very stereotypical) so I learned a thing or two.
I find extremely meticulous /anal people to be annoying. Funny in a Tina Fey/Anchorman way is really cool. If you think Friends was funny I don't think we'll get along.

Date men and women from California, United States. Its been almost two years since I moved to the Bay Area from Massachusetts. There was a great opportunity for me to work for a Cloud Networking company in downtown San Francisco. So I decided to pack my bags and make the jump across the country. So far it has been a great experience.
Back home I have a Big Family where I was the oldest Grandson out of 37 kids. Family parties and holidays were always fun filled with entertainment. The majority of my family lived relatively close, in and around the New England area. I grew up a 5 minute walk to the beach everyday. The summers were always amazing, especially on the weekends. Its the one thing I miss the most. Plus family. Boston was just a 15 minute ride North. Redsox, Celtics, Bruins, North End, BU, Fenway, Alston, Newbury St. Back Bay, and Beacon Hill. Great times during and after college.
So the special somebody? What are the characteristics or criteria? Well, thats a tricky question., I guess I would like to meet somebody that is ambitious like me, enjoys traveling, and seeing the world. Someone with a personality, that loves to laugh, picnics in the park with wine...

There are so many interesting subjects out there that are stimulating to the mind and I believe that the more I learn, the more I grow. Another strong passion of mine is to eat. If you put great food in front of me, I would probably eat all day long. I like sampling different types of cuisine and pretending I'm a high and mighty food critic.
