Checking out online dating for the first time, I thought I'd put myself out there and see what or should I say who I find. I'm driven, well-educated, independent and fiercely loyal. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty (I know my way around power tools and I wash my
own car). I love sports - football and hockey are my top picks, and I enjoy watching baseball in person.
I'm a fitness fiend always in training for an endurance event. Just ran my 9th half marathon, my first duathlon and a 200 mile relay race. I'm not fast, but I get out there and have fun. I don't back down from a challenge and I love trying new fitness endeavors. I just bought a road bike and plan to train for a metric century in the fall.
In my free time I love to be outdoors because I sit behind a desk 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. (I am rewarded with 3 day weekends every week though so I can't complain.) I also spend a fair amont of time volunteering at my church and with other local community groups. Most of my immediate family lives pretty close by so I spend a lot of time with them as well. I just started playing in a softball league, so that keeps me busy as well.
I've always been responsible and hard-working, but I still love to have fun and get goofy when the time is right. I'm probably considered an introvert, but I enjoy all types of activities. And I'm not afraid to set out on my own if there is something I want to do, including traveling. But I would like to have someone to share my time with. Last year I went to Las Vegas and San Francisco (to run half marathons), next up is Maui later this year.
Hmm what else.. I'm a bit of a clutz, I'm a procrastinator, and I bite my nails, oh and I can be indecisive at times (the people pleaser in me). Alright that is all the negative about me. :)
