Date a man from Steamboat Springs, United States. I've lived in CO for about three years. I like to ride my bicycle in the Summer and ski in the winter. There are many ways to kill a day, I just prefer to do it on a bike...I'm not a racer, my motto is I ride to eat! The more I ride, the more I can eat!
Prior to CO I lived in Chicago for 10 years. Before that, Columbus, OH (home town). I LOVE Colorado living and wide open spaces. I'm amenable to settling down in the mountains or front range. I go back and forth (Steamboat and Boulder). I lack a compelling reason to settle either place. I've had my fill of big city living. I'd rather live here and occasionally visit there. I can be loquacious and gregarious, but I prefer a simpler life.
Other outdoor interests include snow shoeing, camping, fishing, hiking, and scuba diving. I’m willing to try other outdoor activities. I also enjoy yoga, reading, movies, concerts, watching sports on TV (if the weather is bad) and just hanging out. I've tried Bridge (the card game) and Swing Dancing and I’m willing to participate in those or try other couple related activities.
It's difficult to express in words what I find attractive in a lady. The characteristics/values that I like are pretty much universal--warm, compassionate, good sense of humor, intelligence, internal and physical beauty, etc. I believe everyone has the same basic feelings, urges, needs, and fears. It’s important how one manages them in their affairs and how one chooses to allow them to affect themselves/others.
Although I don't have children, I do enjoy them. All ages--little ones, teens, and young adults. Having grown up in a divorced house hold (I have a solid relationship with my parents and step parents) I do have a thorough understanding of how it impacts children of all ages.
If you are active, personable, fitness minded, and share some of the same leisure interests as me, then we have enough in common to get to know one another better. We should meet, talk, perhaps share an outdoor excursion, and go from there.

I love to try to cook many things and LOVE to eat a variety of dishes and always try something new every chance I get. I prefer a book to a movie and try to write poetry as it comes to mind. I don't expect me and my match to have everything in common because it is nice to share new experiences with each other just the same. I have a sense of humor that can be called wacky, odd, cynical, morose, politically incorrect or just down right silly. At the same time, I can be just as serious as a rock and intense if needs be.
