I have run 4 marathons in the last two years and plan to run 2 more this year. I used to weigh in the 230 range, but now am around 175 thanks to running and living better. I still have a little work to do, but am comfortable with my body. I enjoy running and being active (obviously), cooking, listening to music, especially live music, watching movies, and playing with my chocolate lab.

My 2 boys (10 and 13) are the center of my life and my schedule. :-) I'm humbled to be a father. You'd have to understand that priority or we'll never relate. But I don't have them all them time (one lives in Virginia near DC and the other, a step son, is with me once in a while), so I have most evenings and weekends to myself when I'm not hanging out with climbing/workout/game night friends.
Experiences that enlighten or events that stimulate conversation are my favorite. Intelligent people captivate my attention and I consider just about everyone intelligent in some way (look up the theory of multiple intelligences). I love talking with friends and meeting new people, but my nose is usually in a sci-fi novel or self-help book if I'm traveling on an airplane.

I've gone skydiving in the Rockies, snorkeling in Hawaii, surfing in Florida and watched the Broncos in London!!! I traveled the US, mostly with an old job of mine, but got the opportunity to see many cool things... I would like to get back to see the NYC sky line again!!! But there's no place like home, Colorado.... I love to travel and hope to get the chance to travel the world. I love the old architecture and experiencing different cultures.

I've held jobs in several different fields, from long haul truck driver for a moving company to beer sales to fiberoptic technician to oil field work... They've all helped to broaden my horizons and opened my eyes to different things... and have taught me things that I still believe about life today.
I know what I'm looking for and have high expectations... even though I'm not looking to get married next week. I don't want to rush into things and get to that uncomfortable place, even though I do look forward to finding that someone who gives me the "butterflies in the stomach" feeling!!!

They are really important to me and I wish I could see them more often, but where I am living now just suits my lifestyle much better. I am a friendly, joking kind of guy.
