On the testosterone side, like most guys, I like four wheel drive vehicles and bombing around on my motorcycle in the mountains on sunny summer days (no it’s not a Harley, I am not that cool). I like to wear jeans, boots and baseball hats. I enjoy the outdoors and have more gear than I will probably ever use. I like getting out in harsh weather and testing my mettle. I also love guns, shooting and going duck hunting. (There you go ladies, I said it. My guess is that this will eliminate half of you out there… so be it, you would have found out sooner or later.) I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, archery and the ballet ( actually I don't like the ballet, I just wanted to see if you were paying attention!)
On the estrogen side, I like cooking, drinking wine, and listening to most kinds of music. I love art and museums good movies. I don’t watch the tube and am one of the last humans on earth without cable TV. For me it is the greatest waster of time ever invented! I like shopping, meeting friends for cocktails, and cozy coffee shops on snowy weekend mornings. Believe it or not, I do not follow sports. I don’t mind watching it now and again. I am just not consumed by it.
If you can't tell, I try not to take this all too seriously!

I am a person who's love language is pre-dominantly touch - I like to hold hands, scratch backs, stroke hair, give kisses, etc. I am the type that would see my partner across the room and go to her and give her a kiss just because she is there and I appreciate her. I grew up in a family of 7 boys and 2 girls and so family is huge to me and I hope to you as well. I LOVE being with family and doing things with them - I am not one who likes to spend time alone much but I am not clingy and I think it is great for you to have a girls night or separate interests that make you happy.
I am intelligent and kind of a nerdy intellectual - not that I dress funny and wear a pocket protector or can't carry on a normal conversation. I am equally comfortable in a casual small group setting as in a formal large group setting.
Communication is very important to me. I cannot read minds - I wish I could but I can't. We need to realize that communication IS the relationship (verbal, non-verbal, expression, body language, consideration, acts performed or not performed, etc.- all are a form of communication). Lack of this leads to missunderstandings, frustrations, isolation, etc. It should be understood that everyone should not agree on everything - agreeing to disagree is an ok outcome - but not agreeing does not mean the other person needs to be changed or that they are wrong. I really like people who can truly see different viewpoints and appreciate them even if they do not agree with them.
I really like to learn new things and if I won the lottery I would probably go back to school just for the fun of learning new things. I love cosmology and find the universe fascinating. I would totally love to go into space but alas, until I win the lotto I must keep my feet on the ground.
I am not into material things and would rather enjoy experiences than have stuff. Stuff doesn't last but relationships and experiences do - or at least that is my hope.
Regarding my faith - I believe in grace and mercy, not a big judgment guy – I hope we all learn from our wise choices and also our poor ones, become better, are forgiven, and live in peace and happiness forever. I hope you do not have a lot of rules and aren't more focused on the application of those rules than on appreciating and loving.
