Thanks for stopping by, I'm Alex, Was born in Northern Spain in the Basque country and lived in Telluride, CO a gigantic portion of my life before returning to Europe for my first bachelors and now as of '09 I'm back in the USA.
Having lived in a small mountain town before, college (CSU) brought me to Fort Collins, was a big change and having done my job since I first had a license I decided I wanted to go career on it so I gave up CSU and it is a choice I do not regret. I truly love my job and it gave me the chance to help out in the recent fires we had and I make the most out of it since it is 8 months out of the year. I have tattoos and piercings and don't plan to stop collecting them anytime soon.
I am nowhere from being a high maintenance pretty boy, rugged but refined would best describe me, I do believe my parents educated and raised me to be a gentleman and it also comes with growing up in a household as the only male amongst my siblings.
I'm former Army and served until getting disabled, now with a full recovery I am conditioning myself mentally and physically to reenlist by the end of this year, Colorado National Guard this time around since where my life is at I can't be as active duty as I was before. Just feels there is some unfinished business.
Also PTSD is a reality in my life. I had 2 sleeping disorders develop after my service that come in the form of sleep apnea and insomia. Being able to support this and be understanding about it is a must.
Who I'm looking for, is a woman with an initiative, who will be affectionate, loving responsible, mature, supportive and that respects herself as much as others. A strong will and being opinionated and determined about what she wants in life. Someone I can learn from and can also learn from me and I can grow from as an individual but also grow together as one. Someone I can communicate easily with and also communicate together with others as a couple. My nature is adventurous and sometimes to an extreme so someone who can share that same aspect or at least put up with it.
My reality is that I feel too old for the town I live in, hardly anyone I meet is my age her and the more frequent older people I meet seem to feel like they need to act like college kids still. Though I don't see Fort Collins as a permanent solution for myself I do see Northern Colorado as an option, and a great one. And at the point in life I am right now, I just wish to make a woman and myself happy,
