I pretty much do whatever I can to get outside, whether its playing sports, just a walk around campus, a hike or a backpacking trip, If I'm outside I will always be in a good mood. Unless, that is, if I get a sun burn, which with my skin happens quite regularly. I am currently a double major and the University of Wyoming, hoping to move on to get my Masters in one of the two, but I haven't decided yet it I'm going to continue towards the doctorates after that. I do love to learn though; my friends often say I'm like a walking encyclopedia, full of stuff no one really needs to know, just random facts. When it comes to being outgoing, I would say i'm friendly and talkative at times, but there is a quiet more reserved side to me aswell. But more then anything I just want to have fun, and enjoy being around people. That probably comes from spending most of my life in musical theatre, which I have since given up, but I still enjoy the theatre and at times have tried my hand at writing a play.
For the most part I am pretty down to earth, mellow and pretty laid back, yet I like to make people laugh (which is often at my own expense haha) and laugh with them. They do say smiling makes you live longer... so we should all just smile more. I do have a thing with being bored though, I don't really like having nothing to do, and would rather be working then sitting alone in my room, bored. That doesn't mean I'm hard to entertain or please, I just simply like to keep moving. Somtimes I'll curb my boredom with a book, or some video games, boardgames are awesome by the way, or anything else, sometimes I'll just go for a walk.
I'm pretty much just looking for someone who shares a few things in common with me. Some may say its overated, but in my opinion having similarities is a huge part of being able to share this thing called life with someone. But to go on a hike, or play on a softball team together, its like glue that keeps a friendship/relationship together. Also someone who aspires to something, whether thats in school, a career, as a parent or anything, to me its important that someone has goals to acheive. As for me, I'm honestly not that good at talking about myself so that's a little more difficult. I was born in Berlin, Germany, so I have quite a bit of a German background. I come from a military family (my Dad is a recently retired Sergeant Major for the Army) so that has really shaped my life a lot. My Dad has basically kept me in line my whole life, but I'm very thankful for it because it definitely turned me into the person I am today. I never use profanity, and I was raised to be a gentleman and to treat women right. All of my friends frequently tell me that I have really good morals and principles and that I'm very mature. I don't judge people for things they've done in the past or for who they used to be, what matters to me is who you are now. I've always been honest, and I always try to do the right thing in any situation and I never break a promise that I make. I think that a person's word and a person's promises are really important, so I always keep mine. I always want to be the person that everyone can count on and that everyone goes to when they need help. Other than that, I live a pretty active life. I exercise pretty much everyday and I'm going to be trying out for either college football or semi-pro football sometime later this year. I'm also typically a bit shy.
