Meet someone special from Fort Collins, United States. I'm most often described as silly and fun. Life and happiness make me smile. I'm proud to say I have my dream job of working with technology and computers. I'm grateful everyday for my life, my family and my friends. I'm looking for someone who has wonderful intelligence, humor, and would not be embarrassed by being silly and having fun. My social life is really just my small circle of close friends. We talk, grill, play games, go places, and laugh at everything. Almost everything makes me laugh, I'm a big advocate of laughing and smiling. Relationship-wise I'm open for anything really but I'm guessing most anything would have to start with dating and such. I'm most passionate about music I think. Playing, attending, and listening. It dominates my days.

Date single man from Fort Collins, United States. Only 3000 characters to describe myself! Where to start. Let's see; I'm very, very, very, very, very... dang, I'm not getting even close. Let's try this a different way.
Personality: Laid back, easy going, forward thinker mixed with spontaneity. Lets actions speak more than words. Dependable and honest. A lightly sarcastic (however, can’t compete with my east coast friends) dry sense of humor, with some whit. Quality vs quantity. Enjoys learning through others, books and experience (good and bad). "Learn like you'll live forever, live like you'll die tomorrow.” Enjoys playing the game more than winning. Environmentally and health conscious.
Career: My choice of careers can demand a lot off me in terms of time. Besides it’s rewards it can also be mentally and emotionally draining. It’s a big part of my life, but it’s not my entire life and doesn’t rule my life. I mean how can it, when you can look outside and see snow capped peaks and have 300 days of sunshine!
Lifestyle: Like to think of myself as a Jack of all trades. Regretfully not an expert at all of them. Just good enough sometimes to get myself into trouble. The reason I stayed here in CO is the mountains and the many options they supply. Way too many options however so my participation in different activities ebbs and flows as the years go by. New ones are always welcome. Always looking for ways to end up in the ER (luckily that hasn't happened in a long while). My activity corner stones are snowboarding, fly fishing, mountain biking, trail running and ice hockey. I try to include my dog in my activities as much as I can. Checking out at least one new mountain town and it’s offerings on a yearly basis is a must. Still have quite a few places to check out. On the flip side just hanging outside watching the world go by can be just as rewarding - in the backyard, at a friends BBQ, downtown. Can’t forget one of the great local summer past times of hitting the local breweries on a bike with a group of friends.
My match: I'm looking for someone who, like me, is easy going, outgoing and likes a variety of outdoor experiences (skier/snowboarder and mountain biker a big plus). Willing to try something new or teach/share what they know. Intelligence and a good head on your shoulder is a must. Quirky and odd = awesome fun. Someone who can give and take sarcasm, in its playful, joking form of course. Honesty is a definite virtue.
As I look at what I’ve written, you can see with these list, I’m a little bit of a type A personality. However, to tone that down I somehow manage to surround myself with people (and pets) who are a little A.D.D. It makes life so much more fun that way. Can’t plan or stay on any type of schedule when your best friends get distracted by shinny objects.
Well, that's me and what I'm looking for in a small nutshell. Hopefully, not too generic. Don't be afraid to drop me a line or a wink. I know you're out there and look forward to exploring and sharing life's adventures with you!

Meet people from Fort Collins, United States. You might be forgiven for thinking that every guy on this site is actually the "same" guy. See if you can recognize him:
"I am fun, independent, and quirky. I love the outdoors. I'm a great listener but am also a man of action. Have had some great relationships in the past but still haven't found 'the one'. Tired of the bar scene. Looking for someone to laugh with. Believe it or not, I love to cook! I will fix your car or at least go with you to the repair shop so you don't get screwed over. Love to travel and see new places and meet new people. I can be a little quiet at times but also love deep conversation..."
And et cetera. Nothing wrong with that, but...yawn, right? And what's weird is, the above really does apply to me (except I was never much of a fan of going to bars to meet new people), but even I'm bored writing it - how bored must you be reading it? So let's play "fun facts".
I am learning seven languages, partially for PhD programs but mostly to impress women.
I hoard western shirts from the vintage store but need a girl who will understand my absolutely irrational refusal to wear shorts in public. Unless I'm running for exercise or from mutant lobsters. Because they always travel in packs.
Classical music moves my soul, 90's grunge music makes me wonderfully nostalgic and makes me miss the greatest decade of my life (can we just admit now that the 00's kind of sucked?), but I will absolutely park the XM radio on my rental car on the first techno station I find. So, you might want to at least kinda like techno.
I have 3 superpowers. And yes, I'm kind of exaggerating. But no, I'm not telling you what they are without some kind of dare being involved.
To call travel my 'obsession' would be like calling a mountain lion a 'house cat'. I don't have favourites, the way a parent can't (or isn't supposed to) have a favourite child. Ask about the Norwegian Jotunheimen in June, or Scotland in December, or Thailand during monsoon season, and I'll paint a verbal picture for you. Something overpowering and ecstatic washes over me when I even think about the next adventure. Kerouac: “Our battered suitcases were piled on the sidewalk again; we had longer ways to go. But no matter, the road is life.” Preach it.
My car has memorized the route from Fort Collins to Littleton. Yes, I'm a grad student. Yes, I also have a job.
I see here I'm also supposed to put you in a box and tell you who I'm looking for. What a question, though! I just think of all the souls that pass in and out of my life every day - who can say what fascinating encounter is just around the corner? I am a Christian, and am in grad school to go deeper into that part of my life - but this also means I relentlessly question everything. If you hold a strong faith of your own and are willing to dig deep into the wonders of God's creation, and to engage your intellect and not just accept what someone else has taught, we'll get along well.

Date men and women from Colorado, United States. I am a fun, out-going extrovert who thrives on being around other people. I need my alone time, just like any normal person, but being around others gives me energy and just makes life fun. Being a Colorado native, I love the outdoors. I grew up in the mountains on the Western Slope - so I'm kind of a country boy at heart. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were camping with my family. My dad was a school teacher so we had all summer to hang out - it was cool. Whether I'm camping, mountain biking, hiking, or running I just want to be outside. I'm not extreme at any of these activities, but I do try my best at all of them. I like to take care of my body, and fitness is important to me. I don't smoke at all or drink very much. Although I love beer and drink socially. Yoga helps me relax and center myself. I try to laugh at myself whenever I make a dumb mistake. I can be a goofball at times, and my friends usually find this funny or perplexing, depending on the day and friend. If you like to go to museums I'm your man. I'm a museum nerd.
I manage government accounts for a major wireless carrier. I have a lot of freedom in my profession, which is important to me - I can't stand being micromanaged. I hate being chained to a desk and can't imagine a job where I'm stuck doing the 8-5 grind.
UPDATE - Recently, I've been going through a lot of life changes. I'm in the process of researching a career in medicine. I've always been interested in the health sciences but up until now my professional quest has been primarily for money. I guess that isn't too bad when you have bills to pay. However, now without a mortgage or family, I've decided that it is a perfect time to look into this line of work. I'm thinking about possibly becoming a physician's assistant. I think I may start out as an EMT and see where it goes!
You are a kind, intelligent, feeling, independent woman who is in touch with her emotions. You are looking for a partner who will cheer you on from the sidelines, offer help when asked, and generally be your best bud. I am nearly a year out of a 13 year relationship with 9 of those in marriage. The split and divorce were amicable and we are still buddies, although there isn't a chance at reconciliation. I really cherish my partner and I will support you in whatever your life dreams are. I'm not the jealous type at all, so if you have guy friends I seriously don't mind one bit. I have girl-friends so why shouldn't you be able to hang out with guys?
You are also a gal who will challenge me to be the best person that I can be. I prefer straight-forward communication and try to avoid passive games and the like.
You are most likely active and will enjoy going on outdoor adventures with me. This isn't a requirement though or a deal-breaker if you aren't into the outdoors as much as I am. Outdoor activities are a great way for me to connect with my partner. I'm new to Match but I've been on OK Cupid for nearly a year now and I've noticed that I generally match well with teachers, counselors, social workers, therapists, and others in the helping professions. Not that you have to be in any of the professions, just more of an observation.
Here is one final fun fact about me. I have been on over 50 first dates since July 2011 with countless second and third dates and even a rebound or "growing" relationship in to boot. I have kind of blissfully gone off the deep end into this dating thing - most likely since my ex and I got together so young and I didn't have a chance to date earlier in life. This has been a fun and at times interesting experience. All of this dating has served a purpose though - I have learned a lot about how people tick but I have learned a LOT more about myself in the process. Some of my friends have encouraged me to write a book about my experiences, hah

Date single man from Colorado, United States. I really enjoy exploring new places whether it be in a car, on a sidewalk or with a backpack and hiking boots.
Few things turn me on more than feeling the curves of the road as I head into the mountains with someone special for a weekend getaway.
I'm not the kind of person who lives my life through others (like American Idol fanatics, for example)...definitely would rather experience life in person. I rarely watch TV (only the NFL, really and educational programs). Movies are good though.
A healthy lifestyle is important to me. I work out regularly and try to eat healthy often, though I'm always down for pizza and a Coke. I love love love to read and learn new things. I can spend hours in a bookstore. I stayed in college way longer than I had to because there were just so many interesting classes I wanted to take.
