My career is with the U.S. Government in Wildfire and I have been doing that for fourteen years. Much of that time, my job was as a Captain on a fire engine but now my job is behind the scenes. Sleeping on the ground and spending 4 to 7 months a year on the road got tiring. My job still keeps me busy so there isn't much time to go out and meet people. My job now is very high stress and I end up having to deal with alot of politics. Even though I am under stress much of the time, I am known for the one who is always smiling and joking. Summers are very busy for me and there are times which I have to go to work at a moments notice and often work long hours so it would be nice to have someone who is understanding and patient. This isn't all summer though, only during critical times of fire when it is dry. I would like to someone that gives me that reason to take time off when I can. The winter months though I work regular hours and have more time to do what I want. A sense of humor is a must because I love to laugh, have fun and can be very sarcastic due to it being one of the best stress relievers out there. Laughter truly is the best medicine for life.
