Date someone special from Durango, United States. How to discribe myself, that is something that I have to think about before I start so I don't overlook anything. I kind of find that writing about myself is difficult, because its not something that I do that often.
I can tend to be a creative person. I like doing (working with)stuff with my hands. I do have a sence of humor and I'm able to make people laugh when I'm just making a comment about something and actually not trying to make them laugh. I can cook, and I would enjoy being able to have some one else to cook for.
I can be a quite person at times or I could talk your ears off, it just depends on the setting.
I enjoy being up in the mountains when I can, with just the sound of the wind blowing throught the tops of the trees, no cars, no city lights. The seasons are the thing that changes what I might be doing. I enjoy hiking during the right seasons of corse. In the winter i enjoy snowmobiling, snowboarding and maby one day I will try out snow shoeing. I enjoy being out in the mountains just as much as i enjoy being in town. I really enjoy listening to music, I like rock, classic rock, I tend to really like heavy metal and listen to it, but I need to listen to other stuff too so that just one style will not limit my love for music. There is some country music that i dont mind, but for the most part i dont care for it, I did grow up listening to country music untill i i was old enough to change the station. I do play the Bass guitar, but due to events out of my hand I haven't been able to play for a while. I'm not that big of a sports watcher, I'd rather be playing than sitting around just watching. I can be a quite person or I can just talk your ear off and ramble along, it all depends on the topic and the setting that I'm in.
I don't drink, its just a personal choice that I've made. I might have a drink once in a while if its a special event of some kind. Since I don't drink I don't go out to the bars, I actually stopped going to bars due to all of the smoke, it was really the live music that I was actually interested in. I'm not saying that I'm against going to a bar or drinking its just some thing I don't do that often. There is just so much more to me than what I think that I can put into words here. I must add in that my picture is several years old now, 3-4 years I think. I have since changed things a little since I uploaded my main picture, I've gone and cut my long hair and my beard and shaved a little, which you can see what I mean in the other picture that I uploaded which was about a week or two ago but the picture its self is about 2-3 months old now.
How does one go about describing their ideal match, when you have not even meet them yet?
I find myself at a loss for words when I try to describe my "ideal" match. It would be nice if we shared some common interests. I'd like to find some one that doesn't mind taking it slowly at first to get to know each other.

Meet people from Colorado, United States. Not really a fan of talking about myself, but I can give it a try. Born in durango and raised in cortez. I tried Fort Lewis for a very short time. I really was not ready for college. I needed to grow up and get out of the area, so I joined the navy. I spent a little over a year in the chicago area in Navy electronics schools. I absolutely loved my time there. After more schooling in San Diego I was assigned to a ship in Japan. It took allot of getting used to, but Japan grew on me. The Navy did not. I did have fun, and was able to experiance many cultures. But in 2002 I took my honorable discharge and moved on. I tried to settle in San Diego for a little while, but missed my family. So back to cortez I came. :) Some more moving around cortez, dolores, durango, and bayfield. I have now found my place in the mountains outside of bayfield. Bought my first home, and am settling. :) I live my new best friend, my dog Enzo.
I like to snowboard, golf, camp, hike, boat, float, BBQ, just about anything! I dont like crowded bars. I prefer to work and play during the day, and spend evenings and nights relaxing. Im a big fan of movies, and of football of course. I like to play softball and volleyball. I would really like to meet someone to do any and all of these things with! An active person, who doesnt have to be moving constantly! ;)

I enjoy expensive things but I strive for beautiful simplicity: a small house with the finest woodwork, a few pieces of incredible art, a great kitchen with good gadgets, a garage full of tools and toys, a wood burning stove in the winter, and really juicy tomatoes in the summer.
I would like to say that my best attribute is my emotional intelligence. I'm intuitive, perceptive and aware of those around me. I’m far from perfect, but that gives me something to work on!
