Although my job in the real world is in tech support, my first love is music, front and center, especially classical. I also enjoy classic rock and rock and roll. God gave me an exceptional ear, which I put to use as timpanist of a Denver area orchestra. I'd love to see you at one of my concerts. My grandmother was my first music teacher, and my degree is in music education. Trains are in my blood as well, covering the spectrum from American Flyer S gauge trains to the New York City subway system (I used to watch conductors slap the trigger caps on the old cars to close the doors and found myself wishing I could do that). Not to mention Denver's light rail system.
Do you follow sports? During the summer, I root for the NY Mets while during the fall I follow the NY Giants and UConn (my alma mater), and BLEED for Notre Dame. Well, I am a South Bend native and my grandfather taught at Notre Dame. Have traveled quite a bit including more a half-dozen trips to Europe. How about you? Do you travel? I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty while hunched over under the hood of my car. Of course, trying to stand up straight afterwards can be a chore! You'll also find me snapping away at Denver's light rail trains with my digital SLR camera.

As far as a perfect match is concerened, I'm not sure there is such a thing since we all have flaws, but I believe there are great matches. How you present yourself to the world through pictures and words can be good clues to whether we would be a good match, but you can't tell for sure until you get to know someone. As far as a match for me, being athletic and smart would be a great start. You might want a pretty high level of energy to keep up. If you are a serious triathlete you'll probably be able to wear me out, but I'll try to keep up (yes, I am competitive). Not that I am attempting both....finding love is hard enough. Nothing would give me more joy than to find her and fall head over heels for her and live the fairy tale together for say....the next 50 years or so.

So, who am I to deserve you? I am a full time father to a daughter 23 and a son 21, who live with me in Centennial. My 22 year old niece also lives with me.... a full house for sure. My kids mean a lot to me and there is very little I wouldn’t do for them. I am self employed in web design, social media, advertising, and marketing. I work in the Cherry Creek North area.
I love music, and have about 4,000 songs on my iPod (and another million or so on my PC). I lean to more modern stuff but enjoy some music from almost any genre. I go for everything from Dave Matthews to Frank Sinatra, from Sting to Mozart, from Howie Day to Melissa Ethridge. On my radio I listen to NPR and KBCO. I can discuss anything from musical styles to current events. I love movies…whether in the theatre or on DVD. I also enjoy reading and have something to read around every turn. I have three great kids that are all grown and on their own. My son just completed his first year in graduate school at UCLA My oldest daughter is a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. and her sister has a career in Advertising. Both daughters live in the Denver area and all three of them went to undergrad. at CU-Boulder. They all have been great kids growing up. My two daughters won State Championships in tennis while in High School. We kept them so busy with sports and school that they didn’t have time to make bad decisions or get into any trouble.
My life has changed in the last few years with the kids gone. It took some time to get used to the quiet house. I had thoughts of moving to Cherry Creek or possibly Wash. Park, but I really like my neighborhood and would hate to give up my house. The only thing missing is some one to share my home, or another home.
My career has been in Sales and Sales management working for large companies and selling Storage and Networking Solutions to Fortune 1000 companies for their data center requirements.
I went to High School in suburban Detroit and for college I went to Michigan State. After college I moved to Aspen where I lived for three years. When I finally decided to join the real world I moved back to Detroit and went to work for IBM. It took me a couple of years, but I was able to transfer back to Colorado where I have been for a number of years. It was one of the greatest decisions I ever made, getting out of the Mid West and moving back to CO. When you have 65 consecutive days with out the sun shining it is time to move on. I love it in Colorado and I don’t know where I would rather be unless it was to spend part of the year on a warm sandy beach.
Besides work I like to exercise daily at my health club, travel, dine out, go to movies, play sports, and cook and relax at home with a good movie. Some of my favorite restaurants are Cherry Creek Grill, Venice, Del Friscos, Shanahans, and Sushi Den. I play golf,(although not as much as I would like), ski (mostly ten fifteen to twenty times a winter in Vail and one to two trips to Aspen), scuba dive (usually once a year in the Caribean), play tennis, mountain bike occasionally, hike, and I like to take evening walks or runs. I also like to go to sporting events, outdoor concerts, and I am always up for any new adventures.
My traveling in the last few years has been to Australia, (Sydney and diving on the Great Barrier Reef), Mexico (Cabo, Playa Del Carmen, and Mazatlan), Hawaii, and Italy. I bought a time share for two weeks over Christmas in Cabo. When on beach vacations I like to play golf, run and jog on the beach, relax, and just enjoy the water and the warm sun. It is so convenient to leave Denver in the morning and be on the beach in Cabo in the afternoon. I was in Italy for three weeks a couple of years ago. My favorite city was Positano where we stayed at the Hotel California. The owner always wanted to go to CA. but did not make it before he passed away. The family now runs the Hotel. Part of the trip was a one week cruise in the Mediterranean.
Friends would say that I am out going, in good shape, have a good sense of humor, that I am a good listener, and someone who does not take himself too seriously but knows what he wants.
I am looking for that special connection, someone who is my best friend, my lover and someone to share my life with.
