Looking though all these claims of greatness...i.e. pick me the handsome, successful suave stud....OK, I know myself and know what I want and what I want to give. In short: everything. I want to give my heart, soul and all my energy to cultivating and nourishing a relationship. I'm not interested in serial dating. I guest I can start by saying that I am in a bit of a transition but am very ready to meet that someone special, as I am so motivated in that regard,...so hence my profile being here ! :) As such, please do keep on reading, but I must mention that I won't bore you with a lot of silly details...let's talk more in person, as you wish...and look for a spark...if you don't see one in me, it's still all good...as I always take something good away from all those first meet-n-greets! And...oh yea one more thing, while all of my photos are new as of July, 2012, I hope my photo sequence (i.e. a day in the life of...etc.) isn't too "cute". It's just that so many other's I have seen are just way too cool, exciting, and extravagant to perhaps...be totally true...? As for me, I am easy going and a bit of a “clown”, as I’ve always said: humor is the “key” to life…especially when it’s directed towards ME ! ;) ! So rest assured, you will see no drama within me, if / when we ever meet...just an easy going conversation. As my profile indicates, I am in above-average shape for an old guy like myself standing 6’ 2” and weighting in at 180 pounds. So, exercise is a priority, but I don’t harp on it…it’s just something I personally embrace.

Hi, My name is Michael Williams. I have two children, Sarah, 13 and Ryan, 10. Life is pretty good around our house now, and I thought I might like to go on a date or two, it has been awhile. I like dinner and picnic's, as long as there is a cold beer to go with the potato salad. Cooking is a favorite activity, having once been head of an international culinary team. I have lived overseas and love to travel; Europe, Africa, Canada and the Carribean are nice. Fall is the perfect time of year, but cold winter nights are a pleasure, I love to snuggle under a big comforter. Summer time just means more time in the pool, at the beach, or in the mountains.
My wife passed away 11 months ago, from a valiant battle with cancer, and it might be time for a date. I like to go dancing, and dining out is a nice way to relax.
Who or what I am looking for is obviously a much more complicated question. Having the ability to explore new things is important as well as being able to see the funnier side of any given situation. Rain does not always have to mean getting wet. Since I have not kissed another woman in 16 years, most of this just scares the hell out of me, but I believe I can figure it out. Without using too many nebulous adjectives, I would like to meet a woman who is extremely intelligent (educated and street smart), attractive (a mix of Ginger and Mary Ann), independent, warm; and, yes, opinionated. I believe in both romance and passion nurtured over time. By nature, I am chivalrous to a fault (once chased down a mugger in NYC- his blade missed my neck by inches- got my date’s purse back though). So don’t get offended if I open doors for you or am protective and wait to see you get into your home safely.
I quit high school and traveled alone backpacking all over Europe when I was 15 years old. I resigned from a very high paying management position to return to get an Ivy League MBA at 30. I cite the above merely to demonstrate that I believe in “planned spontaneity” (yes, it sounds like an oxymoron but if you subscribe to the laws of Chaos Theory, it does hold merit).
