I also like to travel and see the world. I golf and love spending time at the cabin or backpacking/hiking. Currently I'm on a city league basketball team, we aren't the best but we sure are improving. I haven't played much in the last 10 years so I'm a bit rusty but it is all coming back to me. I lived for a few years where my backyard was a lake so I love the water and everything it offers.

I’m a fun sentient guy that’s capable of critical thought as well as fitting the square peg in the corresponding hole, or the triangular hole with the aid of a hammer. I appreciate creativity in all its forms, and think I’m funny -- hope you do too, or this could get ugly, messy, and boring. Basically I’m into things that are evocative and fun; music, photography, writing, art, school. I like to play and listen to all kinds of music -- weird experimental meanderings to the tried and true, but plenty of cheeseball stuff for balance and blissful aesthetic ear candy.
Humor; always good. Mine’s slightly on the dry chardonnay-esque ironical end. I love books and try my best to learn something from everything I read, non-fiction and the fictive varieties. I know how to be a gentleman, but can skillfully cuss like a sailor, yet I do have tact and manners -- I swear.
A cook, I am not. In fact I know how to heat things up and throw arbitrary things into a pan and call it _____ and noodles. Although I’m pretty good at stirring things and doing dishes. On yet another random note; astronomy is something that’s provided a lot of awesomeness over the years, as does playing racquetball after business hours, as does composing long banter-ish windbag paragraphs.
Things I find really attractive in a woman are confidence and intelligence, along with a healthy dose of quirkiness and drive that makes her unique. Witty cleverness and a pursuit of something, anything that positively enriches along the way. I like meeting people and being surprised with idiosyncrasies and things that are unknown to me, because ultimately I wouldn’t want things to devolve into a Frankenstein (Frankenstina?) or Weird Science type of deal.
Being a Colorado native, I like skiing, camping, and hiking every now and then, but strangely never learned how to fish or dance. I’ve got great solid friends and enjoy being challenged in constructive ways as well as reciprocating it -- “and doggone it, people like me!" -- as well as not taking myself too seriously. I like being my age and am compelled to enjoy life. Ultimately, I’m looking for someone that’s genuine, honest, rad, fun, and right.

It used to have such a stigma attached to it, but honestly it seems like a no-brainer to at least find somewhat compatible matches to start out on a decent track.

Well for starters and probably most importantly you must know that I am a proud single father of a wonderful seven year old boy. He comes first in everything I do. But on the other hand I also need to have a life of my own and someone to share my life with on a different level.
